Yes! Definetely, the Queen of the Damned soundtrack is absolutely fantastic too (thanks entirely to him)so It's no surprise this song is amazing too

Downpour was the most underrated, but innovative Silent Hill Game. It featured an all star cast and was the first in the series to feature side quests. It strayed from the original formula, but wasn't a bad game at all. I do have to say I felt for Aaron Eckhart's character because he was only trying to avenge his son.

@@shellum Downpour had a a full Hollywood cast. Lena Headey, Aaron Eckhart, Antonio Saboto Junior, and Dustin Hoffman were all used as character maps. It's common in video games now to cast mainstream actors, but use voice actors instead of having the actors use their own.

Downpour did have the weakest creatures of any silent hill game though in terms of scariness.
I really think Nu Metal fits the Silent Hill saga incredibly well for some reason. I love Akira Yamaoka and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn songs but, at least to me, this REALLY feels like Silent Hill. It's great, since the first time I listened to it I loved it. Also, I think this song would fit amazingly with Silent Hill 4 too
I think it fits better in downpour since the game story is about a father getting revenge because his son got raped and killed by a old man, and korn would always have theses styles of songs that would fit in games with storys like this..also...well..how can we forget that song "Daddy"
This is the song that got me into Nu metal, silent hill is such a good horror game franchise it’s sad that silent hills was cancelled.

This game din't deserved the hate it got...it was a pretty solid one...probaly one of the best of the Non-Silent team game.
Personally the best Non-Silent hill Team for me, murphy was really a good character especially some details for him that vetra did it like him looking around when enter the Outer World..makes you really notice how we are playing with a normal human only.

People shit on the Western SH games almost constantly while ignoring their awesome aspects like this. While I do agree there needs to be a return to the form of the original quadrilogy, written by people who understand the lore and designed as a survival horror game and not an action game, Homecoming, there's some really cool shit in Origins, Homecoming, Shattered Memories, and Downpour. I am not at all looking forward to the bastardization of 2 in it's remake and movie...
