Hi mate i have bought a android head unit with canbus however one harness has the AMP CON and the other doesnt. Its god things like key 1 + 2 and few other wires. Any idea on which i should try or any other help would do. Thank you

I can only connect Bluetooth to play the music. 2. how did you change the bass sound of the speaker, somehow I feel like I lost the original bass sound of my music. Cheers
@@scottw6753 hey Scott. You can click on bluetooth to connect your phone then onto Carlinkt which is carplay and your phone will be mirrored onto the screen. If you have google maps on your phone it will show on the screen. Go to settings or one of the apps is Equaliser. You can change your sound settings there 🙌🏼
I have a 2017 that seems to already have a standard touch screen? So not sure what one I would get? As mine doesn't look like any of those options on your site on the product page.

Hi, i've got myself a Gen 4 2007 Pajero. Have the same stock unit as you ( rockford with the sound system ). Did you lose the amp by doing this mod ? Are there any screens that keep the factory amp speakers working ?

I'm from Greece, went to a local audio shop here and i was told there are 2 variations of the rockford system ( depending on the color of the wire clumps at the back of the mmc unit ). Mine seems to be the sh1ty one or at least thats what i was told, seems i need to also change my amp, since the factory one cannot be connected to any of the screens they offer. The whole thing doesn't sound very pro to me, since it is a standalone amp and you should be able to plug it into any system, anybody has similar issues ?
Whats the audio specs like? Do you have a list of technical specs for those? Would like an android screen but don't want to compromise the sound quality of my pioneer?
@@budget4x4life pioneer head-unit for tuneability, and pioneer amp running aftermarket speakers. I've noticed alot of android units don't have time alignment, and much control over crossovers. Plus the pioneer has 4V pre-out RCA's, I'm pretty sure most android units are barely 2V. Correct me if i wrong?
@@ajazburton6850 yeah you cant have both. It will be either pioneer or android but I would stick to your setup as it will have to be rewired again 🙂 these units better suited for just an upgrade over oem not really for amplifiers etc 🙌🏼

Hi mate i like your videos a lot. I have a problem with my new unit, upgraded my stock unit with a AliExpress unit. I had to buy a seperate wiring harness to fit my Pajero but i can not get the sound going. i understand that i need to modify it and power the amplifier somehow but I don’t know how to do it and I can’t find any videos on UA-cam. Any suggestions? Your Help will be much appreciated.
Hey mate. There are over 6 different wiring harnesses for the Pajero. I would personally return it and buy off a reputable seller that can supply you the correct harness instead. 🙂 if you want us to help send us a photo of the back of your old unit and we can provide the correct wiring harness.
Installed same unit on 2010 pajero with no Rockford system and the Speedo stops working time to time. Do you experience this issue or know how to fix it?
@@aakyl4ever we haven’t experienced this issue. Make sure 4G and GPS is properly screwed in and also in the correct input for it to work correctly. Also place gps unit high up to maintain signal.
Is this a bit of you either have it connected to your phone with Bluetooth or wifi? I spent a couple of hours trying to connect both yesterday and probably longer googling, but came up with nothing
@@Kontroll343 connect to the unit with bluetooth for music or apple carplay. Setup a wifi hotspot for it to connect for maps youtube etc using data. Think of it a tablet and cant work without bluetooth or wifi 🤙🏼
Shame it's got touch screen power and volume buttons. Physical tactile knobs and buttons are superior. But using the steering wheel controls it should be good. What's the boot up time like on it? Does it have one of those annoying unskippable startup warning messages?

I have the standard type unit in my NS and bought this head unit for that. with just the one wiring harness. Steering wheel controls don't work. I put the original unit back in and SW controls work fine. Its the second slightly smaller white plug that comes of the main harness next to the larger white plug that connects with the standard wiring kit that has the SW controls which isn't in the standard kit. Anyone else have the same problem or did I order the wrong thing. It's definitely not a Rockford. Just looking for an answer to my problem. Not dissing the product or the seller at all. I've bought a few things from Budget 4x4.

Does the screen dim right down at night? I do a bit of night driving and don’t want an overly bright screen on while driving.

My unit also as the same problem. Works some days, but not always. Not a big issue for me as the radio is my main screen.
