I don't have any video on the wiring but it was a Amazon universal kit from China that had fair instructions with it , the other mods are the hei distributor and a Weber carb plus the aluminum radiator. I have another video of the 4.10 and 33s , SYE and driveline.
did you notice a difference driving around town with the 4.10 gears on the 33's? I have 31's and my 4.0 with 3.07 is really sluggish. Also doing truetracs
Make the change ! Even after the 31 to 33 tire change the gear swap gave me a full gear increase. I can now go over a freeway overpass without shifting down.
I’ve got an ‘89 Sahara that’s the same color. I’ve had too many issues with that carb…. So I’m trying to do something different . My 4.2 only has 115k on it but recently bought a4.0 with 79k that I may replace it with . Do you know what the color on the hardtop of your jeep is ? Would like to do something similar to mine. Thanks
Wish I could tell you the color but it's still a mystery to me, the paint code does not give me the color. Hope the 4.0 swap works for you ,I have a friend did that to his 89 and he is very happy with it , the only trouble I have with the carburetor is when I'm on a really steep hill, I have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it running but that's only if I stall out other than that it runs good.
