9:26.....'that was a dead end, wasn't it'. Up to that point I had been solemnly watching and thinking about all the people and their lives, and then your (unintentional?) comment had me cracking up. There's a lot of dead ends down there....!
Are you down there on your own?! It’s quite a place. I’ve never seen anything like it, so thanks for the tour. You are very brave. It’s surreal and fascinating as well.
The crypt with the chart of placement match the posts to hang the wreaths. The brick ceiling was neat in that area and I noticed numbers up there too. 🇺🇸
Absolutely beautiful art and history. It'd be great for a movie set, or some other kind of creation. Great job, thanks! I'm born and raised in the United States with ancestry throughout Europe. The rich history is priceless!
Boy! Was that ever interesting. Thank you so much for that walk today. Very interesting. I cannot believe how large it is. Some of the carvings and decorations were stunning. And yet, there was neglected crypts falling into decay.
Thank you for the tour. A bit surreal and disorienting, it took me a few minutes to adjust to the space. That dark section with the black covers looked modern/recent. The deceased in the 'old' section seem forgotten. You're probably the first visitor they've had in quite some time.
Wow, what an eerie place. Amazing tour. I wonder how many souls are down there. You went past one wall that looked to still have some vacant spaces left. Thank you
This crypt didn't seem nearly as creepy as I thought it would. There is a sort of dignity about it. Way better now than its abandoned state before restoration.
What a great tour. So many people who are no longer with us. I often ask myself where are these souls? I think not many people visit this graves. So very sad😢
For such a big and old crypt - it seemed clean and well maintained .Will say....it made me think of subways ,underground, tunnels .A few years ago I'd been to visit a huge above ground crypt ,in Oakland California -here in the USA,.It was for just cremated remains,.A big, expensive ,rather gaudy place -that truly struck me as spooky - a feeling I rarely ever have had when visiting a burial place .
It looks like moisture intrusion coming from the entry points and maybe the skylights also. Lots of mildew and moss. The groundskeeper must go through with a leaf bower.
And don’t forget the small town and townships too Washtenaw County online lists all cemeteries. The cold crypt in Saline and Lodi always looked so scary when I was a kid lol.
You’re very brave to go down there all by yourself. It’s so big it’s scary you don’t get lost. I’m afraid there’s only one door to get out and there’s no signs how to get back outside too. And all the wall crypts all the same . So ofcourse I would get lost 😞. It looks so scary. Thank you for showing us.
Well, scary is a matter of opinion. Personally I don’t think it’s scary. Also fairly impossible to get lost as such. Just head to an outer wall then follow it round to the entrance. Simple. Cool to see tho.
Visit such places with respect and reverence, do not disturb the peace of the dead, then they will not touch you and will not harm you. Then you don't have to be afraid. Well, don't go to cemeteries at nights. Everything is very simple.🙃😉😇
Thanks Dan for sharing another interesting walk to that Brussels Cemetery. The dark area of that hallway was very interesting and you're right I could almost see somebody top out at you in a horror movie. The Monuments are very beautiful and a very interesting thanks so much.
Lol half of those resting souls are the ones who got lost and couldn't find their way out thank you for this tour I have never seen anything like that before 💜👀
Good morning, very interesting video, I wanted to know if you could tell me exactly where the access to the crypts inside the Leaken cemetery is located. Thank you
Beautiful and slightly terrifying at the same time. I guess it's just the age and damp. I love the pictures and history. Its the only one I've ever seen that has family crypts.
I don't know how the crypt can hold up all the monuments above it. I noticed that a few of the walls bow in, sort of like the shelves that hold the coffins are collapsing.
Had a daft thought while watching this: Imagine the noise in that place on judgement day, all them skeletons breaking out and massing in the corridors in a panic waiting for judgement.

Im always glad to see things left alone on the graves.. people can be so sticky fingered.
Lots of bad juju when you steal from the dead
I'm not particularly superstitious but I would never chance it.

Really fascinating, I never knew such things existed but I like the history displayed

The hallway reminds me of the shining 😮
I found this so fascinating, I never knew these places existed but I loved the beauty and history of it. Thank you 🙏
It’s surprisingly well lit down there.

Natural sunlight is filtering down
from those rectangular skylights. ☀️
Woah, I don't know what to say... and that's rare...🙈😅
Incredibly huge and...
The history that is there!! Amazing!! I loved it Thank you!!
My Favorite place!

I would never disturb the dead, but i must say id love to open up some of these crypts and see what is inside...
Thank you for the tour! I was so hoping your next video would be of the underground mausoleum. These places hold a great deal of fascination for me.
Boy! Was that ever interesting. Thank you so much for that walk today. Very interesting. I cannot believe how large it is. Some of the carvings and decorations were stunning. And yet, there was neglected crypts falling into decay.
This place is very different and kind of cool the way it is laid out!!! 🌹
That maze is really something I imagine very claustrophobic feeling
This place is awesome!!! TY

First youtube premier I make it on time for! Did not disappoint. Thanks Dan!
Its like that vid "Backrooms"..... only in a Crypt..... and its REAL....GREAT TOUR!
This is the most unique of Amy grave yard tour. Simply amazing. So much history. Great tour.
Thanks Grannybee x
I would not like to be down there on my own cleaning that place, very spooky! 👻 another fantastic vid, thanks for showing this.
This crypt didn't seem nearly as creepy as I thought it would. There is a sort of dignity about it. Way better now than its abandoned state before restoration.
A warehouse for dead bodies, there so long that the only visitors are sight seers, not friends or family. Very sad.
What a great tour. So many people who are no longer with us. I often ask myself where are these souls? I think not many people visit this graves. So very sad😢
Thanks Martha, at least a few have been remembered via UA-cam :) x
That's what happens when you die in the end you become forgotten
Lots of love and life lived
I love the pictures of the people

Oh 😮 wow! Totally creepy and amazing
Super interesting - hope you do another video in this place!
Amazing place Dan, Thank you.
It's massive. Please make a second video, soon. Many thanks for a great bit of filming.
Looks beautiful Dan ❤
You are a very respectful young man, almost reverent. In a word, an angel.🤩😗😇🤗
If you ever come to America in Michigan Pontiac and Detroit have really nice old cemeteries.
And don’t forget the small town and townships too Washtenaw County online lists all cemeteries. The cold crypt in Saline and Lodi always looked so scary when I was a kid lol.
People desperately trying to stand out from all the others, even in death. I'm glad you found your way out of there! 👀
Its An Amazing Place, Dan!! 😊 Thanks For Showing It!!
Hello Dan 😊 hope your well. My goodness that is a huge Mausoleum and very old. Catch up soon Dan. Take care. 😊
Very well thanks, hope you're well too x
Another great video. Good to see some smiling in their photos
Feels and looks like a Costco for the Dead
Kijk uit daar!! Niet altijd veilig niet de dode maar de levende moet je voor uitkijken. Be safe

Definitely a creepy place
There are two stairs, that is, 2 exits. You can see it at the end of the video.
A little scary, but rather breathtaking. If you are afraid in such a place, (like a graveyard), then hungry phantoms will stick to you.🤔🤔😐

Imagining a scene from Alien...waiting for an Alien to make your Movement machine start beeping
Once i have been into such mausoleum and the electricity cut off i was running like a crazy to get out and from that time these places makes me scared
Thank you for this video. Its so Amazon to see. New more like this.
Oh my......maybe a lot of the tenants died trying to find their way out
Wow what a place! Thanks, Dan.
Stunning Dan. Excellent tour.👍
Thanks Ian
Great to see but nice to get out!
I bet these places looked amazing back in the day. They knew how to build things that would last, even with little to no maintenance.
😢 THESE POOR SOUL ARE are not at rest that is for sure
The cemetery in Antwerp is amazing...
Greetz, Tom, Belgium
Next level Backrooms.
Imagine if the lights turned off???
Is that all natural light from the skylights? Very bright.
My ocd is kicking in and I want to sweep the walk ways
So Anxious also
missed premire but wont let that stop me watching the video
It looks amazing!!!
This place doesn’t look like it’s being taken care of, in the best way possible 😮😢
The maze of the deceased
Just fascinating to see! Incredibly amazing that this is what people did back then. I am in awe!
I can singing as you where walking around there! Very spooky
Toujours un Moment de Détente🔬🎬🍀Alex France🙏🌌
Lol half of those resting souls are the ones who got lost and couldn't find their way out thank you for this tour I have never seen anything like that before 💜👀
Wow this is super cool!
Almost like a small town
Good morning, very interesting video, I wanted to know if you could tell me exactly where the access to the crypts inside the Leaken cemetery is located. Thank you
Been looking forward to this!
creepy when it looks Black and white. under ground location
Beautiful and slightly terrifying at the same time. I guess it's just the age and damp. I love the pictures and history. Its the only one I've ever seen that has family crypts.
Amazing Place
You need to drop some peanut 🥜 shells on the floor to find your way out.😂😂.
Ooh “Dead end down there “ 😅
Didn't even realise I said it lol
THIS IS a very creepy place....... beautiful art work strong in history
I'd love it.always lived cemetaries
I’d probably have a panic attack walking through there😅
great video
Phantasm place
that place looks amazing
It’s huge!❤
Amazing
All those stories and lives once lived, almost all forgotten down in that crypt
Sangat mengerikan, saya jadi takut melihatnya
Trouble is...a lot of these are forgotten or their families pass on so they are forgotten...so sad..... 😔😔
Sadly it's no different than most cemeteries.
It's amazing isn'it? First time i saw this, i was in awe too...
I don't know how the crypt can hold up all the monuments above it. I noticed that a few of the walls bow in, sort of like the shelves that hold the coffins are collapsing.
Your use of the phrase “dead end” made me smile
Are there actually graves behind those plaques?
Coffins yep
Do you know the reason for the basin-type of attachments at the bottom of some of the crypts?
Could be for holy water.
👍👍👍
OMG I didn't realise such places existed in real life 😱 Appreciate it's a place of rest but something about that feels so scary 😟
Had a daft thought while watching this: Imagine the noise in that place on judgement day, all them skeletons breaking out and massing in the corridors in a panic waiting for judgement.
Glad it didn't happen when I was there
Yeah that would creep me out for sure
Fascinating
Please say the years - I am there for the year.
