THE GODS OF ANIMATION HAVE DELIVERED THEIR NEXT CHAMPION. Ty for making part of the team of channels that talk about topics while animate them in a gorgeus way💓
You are such an inspiration. No gaming the system, no bullshit influencer tactics, just a bastion of the mindset of "make good content and people will find it". I hope every person watching this who at one point quit on their dream of making actually good videos because they wouldn't be rewarded for their effort sees this video as proof that even a channel with 1 video can succeed if people love their content.
Wouldn't survivorship bias apply here? Not to discredit your main point though. I don't think people should give up on making something they want to make to the best of their ability.
Really great video but my only issue is the armor sound effects are little too loud. I'm going to stay tuned for the next upload, keep up the good work
Thank you for the kind words! I knew for sure the comparisons would be there because lets be honest, the styles are DEFINITELY similar and inspired! I'm just happy that people are receptive to the video itself based on its own merits! As long as each video is better than the last then I'll be happy :) Also none of this would've been possible without my good friend Noah/Krugston helping to convert my 2D animation skills to 3D programs like Blender. He did a lot of legwork in showing me the ins and outs of Blender as a program. I hope you stick around and enjoy what you see!
@@CelShock I actually like that your's and FUNKe's style are similar because I haven't seen that style used that much and I think its an awesome style.
This is some god-tier editing, way to get a dramatic entrance. I just hope you don't make one killer production and then disappear like AveragePixel did. You had some great points and got them across very clearly, keeping a "straight line" of attention. - I'm still baffled at how you managed to insert your character into some games!- Your animation is absolutely top-notch, perfectly expressive without looking goofy or over-the-top. I really appreciate the amount of detail in the backgrounds, even some of the 30-second-timed bits had some well thought-out composition. Lip-syncing was really good, too. Double thumbs-up. Though, this video doesn't go without flaws. Audio levelling has some kinks here and there, sometimes it's hard to hear your voice over the background music, and other times the metal clanking of your avatar can be distracting. It'd be nice to see something that separates you from a FUNKe pupil. I'm aware that you've seen it a hundred times, but it goes without saying. I also understand that differentiating yourself between a large inspiration is not exactly something you can pull out of your ass, but come on, you had to pick _movement shooters_ as the main subject? Overall, 8/10 video. Immediately subscribed.
I feel like a topic doesn't really quanify if a someone isn't different enough, i mean i think what separates him from funke is the fact that cell goes through different art styles while using the 3d style if that makes sense, or the fact that puts himself in certain games to showcase what he"s talking about.
I absolutely LOVED this video, the style you’ve got is pretty similar to the likes of FUNKe and KRUGSTON, and I feel like there hasn’t been enough long form essay type videos with 3d animation because it’s honestly so unique and stylized. Funny story, I actually just got into the older Dooms, specifically Doom 2 and their modded WADs, so I probably wouldn’t have seen this if I hadn’t got into that, and I’m glad I did because, you sir deserve a lot more attention because it just feels too good for a channel with 7.2k subs!
For a first video, this is fuckin tight and superb work on the animation. Also, 2:33 hands down I think is my favorite way I've seen anybody do an edit/explanation of why they cut off a part of a video. Continue the great work!
i just visited your channel like "i wonder how long this guy has been making videos this is a really unique style and clearly he must have been refining it for a while" and it was YOUR FIRST FUCKING ONE. the editing must have taken aaaaaages, mad respect way to go dude i always wished i had a unique enough idea to make such a confident splash on youtube so effectively in such a short time.
HOLY CRAP!!! The Visuals and editing for this video is amazing! I love that your character matched the asthetichs of the game backgrounds. Great work, keep it up! :)
The music, the editing, the writing, the animation styles changing to fit different video games, even getting the clunk of your character’s armour every time he moves… This is a STRONG first video. You better believe I’m subbed.
This absolutely can not be your first video! The quality is so good! This is like modern funke without you having to learn from years of making content
Love the video man, character design is nice and I like the all the moving bits on the model, the video was well paced and fun to watch, one thing though some parts had a lot of audio going on at once usually with the light clanging of the armor adding just a bit to much. Over all though amazing video
I am honestly blown away by the production quality of this channel. The animation, edits, and script are incredibly well done. It's clear that you have big plans for this channel and the skill to accomplish them, so stick with it! I'm excited to see where this channel goes!
i really was thinking like, "oh cool, this channel is really underrated, i want to see some of their other videos" only to discover that THIS is your first video on this channel. amazing animation quality, really good script, and fantastic editing, you've earned a sub from me! the only real criticism i have is that there wasn't much time for the video to focus on the problems that other modern shooters had. there should've been some time focused into what other shooters actually got wrong, so that way the video could've then used Doom as an example of how it fixes those problems. As it is right now, it does feel like you're naming off a few of the things that makes Doom good, which isn't a bad thing, but when the video is named as it is it's kind of misleading. Maybe you could've talked more about how most other shooters are mind-numbing while Doom encourages players to think and make quick decisions. or how doom encourages and rewards players for a more violent style of play while other shooters nerf the players to stick to the same duck-and-cover style of shooting. Other than that, this video is really solid. I'm looking forward to what you have next in the cooker, because as it is now you're channel is really promising. Keep up the good work!
With the quality of the animation, I thought this was a channel with at least 100k+ subs. I’m seriously impressed with the effort and quality of this vid. You’re channel will blow up in no time!
I really like this, the commentary is good, the animations are engaging, and the sounds added in! I enjoyed listening to you clank around, hearing that little detail made me smile. I hope to see more content like this, and I hope you enjoyed making it as much if not more than I enjoy watching!
holy shit I just sent this to everyone I know, the animation is stunning, the sheer amount of time it probably takes to recreate the game environments and putting your character in them and the final product is crazy, well done and lemme interview you or somethin this is nuts
I love that you're doing full on video essays that are all animated, this is something that I barely see on UA-cam... let alone in 3D! Do you definitely get my sub and I look forward to seeing you grow!
i am LOVING this, im in absolute awe of how much effort went into this, AND ITS YOUR FIRST VIDEO??? first of all i love the topic, but also i’d love to hear about all the programs you use to make this stuff! great work!
Also, I really hope you, Funke, and Krungston are the start of a new genre of video essays, about time those sorts of videos get a fun twist to them that doesn’t just feel like a school lecture!

Always appreciate a well-animated, well-written video about some of my favorite games. You've got a good core concept here, no denying it. IDK who you are, but I'm glad I do now. What an amazing video. Solid video on explaining Doom and Doom like games. Your style of animation is one of the most unique I've seen in a very long time, not to mention your camera shots. The use of the black bars showing momentum, only to then zoom out and have them shatter and fall into a sludge pit was a great way to tell the difference between fast and sluggish gameplay.

That blend of the protagonist in different videogame styles was insane!
Wasn’t even a minute into the video and I subscribed, such a well animated thought out video. Animators like this deserve everything and it kills me to see that ytubers like these don’t have many subs.
THE GODS OF ANIMATION HAVE DELIVERED THEIR NEXT CHAMPION. Ty for making part of the team of channels that talk about topics while animate them in a gorgeus way💓
YES!! I love this style of animation. around 12 - 24 fps, incredible shadows, the character design, IT'S PERFECT! keep this stuff up, dude!
Have you seen krugston
@Just a random dude nah, this is 8 bit ultra's new channel
You are such an inspiration. No gaming the system, no bullshit influencer tactics, just a bastion of the mindset of "make good content and people will find it". I hope every person watching this who at one point quit on their dream of making actually good videos because they wouldn't be rewarded for their effort sees this video as proof that even a channel with 1 video can succeed if people love their content.
Wouldn't survivorship bias apply here? Not to discredit your main point though. I don't think people should give up on making something they want to make to the best of their ability.
@@nitalukder2108 I don't mean in terms of views, I'm talking about having a finished product that is of amazing quality
@@parknplay8328 Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying, and I fully agree.
Really great video but my only issue is the armor sound effects are little too loud. I'm going to stay tuned for the next upload, keep up the good work
This is one of the best looking videos I've seen on youtube. And its this guys first video?? cant wait to see this guy become something huge
Happy to witness the debut of the next big youtuber. Keep up the great work man!
Thank you for the kind words! I knew for sure the comparisons would be there because lets be honest, the styles are DEFINITELY similar and inspired! I'm just happy that people are receptive to the video itself based on its own merits! As long as each video is better than the last then I'll be happy :)
Also none of this would've been possible without my good friend Noah/Krugston helping to convert my 2D animation skills to 3D programs like Blender. He did a lot of legwork in showing me the ins and outs of Blender as a program.
I hope you stick around and enjoy what you see!
@@CelShock I KNEW IT, you are krugston’s cousin
@@CelShock I actually like that your's and FUNKe's style are similar because I haven't seen that style used that much and I think its an awesome style.
@@CelShock honestly its soo cool thay you and Krugston know each other. That collab has got to happen someday... : )
This is some god-tier editing, way to get a dramatic entrance. I just hope you don't make one killer production and then disappear like AveragePixel did.
You had some great points and got them across very clearly, keeping a "straight line" of attention. - I'm still baffled at how you managed to insert your character into some games!-
Your animation is absolutely top-notch, perfectly expressive without looking goofy or over-the-top.
Immediately subscribed.
tf2 forum reg caught in the wild💀💀
@@yobev4904 Oh no, I've been spotted
Dont worry future video topics will be way more unique 👁👄👁
Continue the great work!
i just visited your channel like "i wonder how long this guy has been making videos this is a really unique style and clearly he must have been refining it for a while" and it was YOUR FIRST FUCKING ONE. the editing must have taken aaaaaages, mad respect
way to go dude i always wished i had a unique enough idea to make such a confident splash on youtube so effectively in such a short time.
Most youtubers in the past went out with a bang. New creators start with a bang and keep going. It's really nice to see such talent!
Look up krugston on yt trust me
i really was thinking like, "oh cool, this channel is really underrated, i want to see some of their other videos" only to discover that THIS is your first video on this channel.
amazing animation quality, really good script, and fantastic editing, you've earned a sub from me!
the only real criticism i have is that there wasn't much time for the video to focus on the problems that other modern shooters had. there should've been some time focused into what other shooters actually got wrong, so that way the video could've then used Doom as an example of how it fixes those problems.
The sheer amount of effort and quality for a new UA-camr is insane, great work my dude
I love how well this is animated as well as the production value put in this video, you need more recognition my fellow artist.
I love that you're doing full on video essays that are all animated, this is something that I barely see on UA-cam... let alone in 3D!
Do you definitely get my sub and I look forward to seeing you grow!
i am LOVING this, im in absolute awe of how much effort went into this, AND ITS YOUR FIRST VIDEO??? first of all i love the topic, but also i’d love to hear about all the programs you use to make this stuff! great work!
I LOVE the clinking noises your avatar makes when it moves, and the face is wonderfully expressive.
This guy has only 400 subs? Dude the effort you put into this is nuts
Also, I really hope you, Funke, and Krungston are the start of a new genre of video essays, about time those sorts of videos get a fun twist to them that doesn’t just feel like a school lecture!
I am incredibly impressed with the amount of work you put into all of the different styles of animations. As others have said this reminds of Krugston, and I think you have done an excellent job with it. I look forward to seeing more of you work.
The Birth of a new 3d animated youtuber may your days be many and your woes be few.
3d avatar Video essay goes hard, what a youtube, my favorite genre
Great video, you clearly poured a lot of passion and hard work into it, especially into animating everything, props
Everyone has said it already, this channel is criminally underrated.
I mean it only has uploaded one vidéo so
It has one 7 day old video that’s already in the algorithm since I got randomly recommended it. The channel is hitting the ground running.
This was an absurdly incredible video in every way possible. Jesus Christ…I NEED MORE! Can’t wait to see this channel grow and its future videos! So damn happy I got recommended this…
This is the absolute best talking animation commentary channel it needs more subs. So much effort, so creative. It isn’t the same 5 jpegs cycled over like it’s ART
Holy shit this is a crazy first video for a new channel, the quality is amazing and cel really reminds me of Funke, glad to be here before cel blows up in popularity
Holy crap. I can’t imagine the painstaking time it took to animate your 3D mascot when you could have just had a 2D mascot move his eyes around (DJ Peach Cobbler) like I’m planning to do with my channel. Like and subbed.
(BTW, do you use Blender for your animations?)
holy crap the production on this is insane, which sadly means we are by no means gonna get regular uploads (the path of all great youtubers is to upload once a year). the good news is we all get a new channel to put a smile on our face everytime that upload happens.
funke at home
I thought this was a Funke 2nd channel or something and I'm absolutely here for it. Fantastic video, I'm all for more quality content like this.
I was sitting here thinking "why has this guy never popped up in my feed before?" And then I realised that this was your only video, immediately subbed! Really keen to see what else you make!
Very rarely do I just subscribe to a whole channel less than 5 seconds into a video but Jesus Fucking Christ the animation alone is god-tier and it just. Keeps. Going. Well done, genuinely. I hope to see more videos in the future no idea how you made some of these shots happen but you did it and I'm blown away that this is your first video
Fastest subscribe button this side of the mississippi like wow these animations blew me away. I was impressed by the animations at the start but then you animated yourself into all those different games with different styles. You're a hidden gem, but hopefully not hidden for long :)
So much effort put into video and so little number of subscriptions. It's unfair.
Bro i thought you were the FUNKe ! But it's so great to see more youtubers getting into this style of vidéos using animation and stuff this so fcking cool !
Bro dropped one of the hardest animated videos and left
Who is this "FUNKe B" kinda fella?!?
Awesome content dude, you got a sub already
I've never seen a channel put this much effort into its videos. you're amazing dude!
Edit: Just checked ur channel and wtf this is your only vid?!
So wel made and very glad to be here! Can't wait to see what you come out with in the future
This is certainly an amazing vid, I’m following you and I can’t wait to see more of what you’ll make
Giving me mad FUNKe vibes, but you have your own style. Absolutely blown away by the quality of your first video! Got a sub from me!
DUDE. TOP QUALITY! your animation style is really cool, and I think you are a great creator! keep up the good work!
Always appreciate a well-animated, well-written video about some of my favorite games. You've got a good core concept here, no denying it.
The clanking and clicking might be a bit too intrusive; I found it hard to focus on the essay during heavily animated segments.
Still, I'm looking forward to what you decide to make next. Best of luck!
I looked at the sub count like...huh, ain't that kinda low for the quality, then realized this was the FIRST video and that sub count was better than some channels that have run for years! Good luck can't WAIT for more!
The amount of detail you put into this video is absolutely insane, you just earned a new subscriber mate
Bro, wtf, this is trully a *godly underrated* content.
bro the video quality and production is insane, looking forward to see what you make next!
this is absolutely amazing, keep this up fr the animated aspect over top of a very solid commentary is fucking sick
"lost my early 20' to a pandemic" hurts to much
Bro, first video and already poppin off. Keep it up
Jeeeez, this is amazing quality for a UA-cam video. Props to you, amazingly done
Immediately reminded me of krugston and FUNKe, with brilliant and unique editing, you gained a subscriber
holy shit bro. I've worked in motion graphics and animation for nearly 20 years and holy shit your work is insane. How did you do this???
Absolutely love your presentation style, editing and pacing. Your candid humor makes this video feel like a chat with a freind while the animation and analysis is on par with the polish and feel of a top-tier video. This is amazingly well done!!! Already subscribed and liked and sharing with folks!! This feel like a cousin of toonami from back in the day in all the best ways! Can't wait for more!
Homie I just randomly found you. Herd you drop the "lost my early 20's" line. And immediately got upset knowing I lost my last two teen years to the same thing. You're awesome immediate subscription. Sick avatar and animation too.
