Some little addendums like usual: I think Neon White has more under the hood than I led on, and if it weren't sandwiched between 10 other reviews i'd probably have had more time to realize that. I'm told the game does have some more emergent shortcut shaving and more meaningful dialogue I passed over.
Also, Valorant's had maps more often than I listed in the video- that's just a research error on my part. I boot it like three times a year. My bad.
Lastly: The Shadow Warrior parts are intentionally more long-form and elaborative than my usual style- my last video was too quickfire for a lot of people, and I wanted to see how writing more thoroughly would fare (these are how my original, F2NKe Studies were written before becoming a main channel series). But I don't expect future videos to be strictly longform, and I get if that's not your personal preference.

An addendum to add: Paladins' Siege Beyond is merely the is the name of the queue, not the game mode itself. The queue hosts a modified Siege game mode for players to test out (think of the Overwatch experimental area), and changes are swapped out and replaced every two patches. Hope that explains it better.
Also, I too am sad about the Raum changes too =/

Problem with overwatch imo is that expression fails unless you are good enough to pull it off ~ some of the best players in the world have shown off how creativity can break the game, but at the same time this creativity often requires you to already know what you are "supposed" to be doing, to work properly. e.g take the player LH cloudy - man is known for pushing an extremely aggro reinhardt playstyle on literally every map - yet before this was also known for being a diehard smart player with great fundamentals in the comp scene ~
Sometimes I wish casual innovativeness worked out more for the game.

The longer length and the “commercial cut” style screen in between segments makes it feel like a long running talk or documentary show that you wait all week for just to watch. The talking style is still there from previous uploads but the sporadic jumps to different topics with the “Funke board” between makes it feel like a fun variety show with an over arcing idea or theme. I will saying having recently picked up Neon White it does expand on a lot of the anime stuff I see people cringe with but it does lean into the tropes pretty heavily on purpose. I don't know about anyone else but it really invokes those teenage Saturday nights of watching toonami and then playing a CS surf map while listening to your underground breakcore. The soundtrack is amazing hype mixed with zen and Steve Blum (Spike from Cowboy Bebop) voices the main character. Really that nostalgia stuff depends on your up bringing but it's nice to see these really great VAs do something so niche for a change since Neon White is a real cheek clenched. PS I know you know this but I just wanna sell people on the game because while I like a good boom shoot I want new stuff and I really just want a surf game minus all the public lobbies. oh and I saw it show up for a second but Postal Brain-Damaged is also quite good. It's called Atomega, an arena shooter game where as you fight you can collect cubes around the map that make you bigger and bigger the more of them you collect, eventually transforming you from a tiny cube, with not much offense but able to utilize small passageways in the map, into a hulking titan that can fire lasers, but is slow and can't fit within the structures scattered around the map.

thank you for showing some love to the shadow warrior reboot! (i'm glad 3 returns to the 1st's form as i didn't like the feel of 2)
I really liked that most upgrades were meaningful (each power and most alt fires had a specific use or fantasy attached) and that you got decorative reminders of your progressions in the three systems (seeing your guns look more badass, seeing the growing tattoos, and the japanese art filling out). also, the banter is superb 👌

I like the slightly higher framerate of your animation in this video. Good to see you're tuning up your style!

I was watching for 18 minutes and started feeling a little overwhelmed, then I looked at the video length... This one's truly amazing!

Warfork is an amazing movement shooter just because of the dash and wall bouncing done through right clicking, dashing gives you speed, wall bouncing not only bounces, but lets you make 360 degree turns without losing speed, and trust me, you get a LOT of speed.

weapon recoil being movement is my favourite thing. It's insanely fun whenever I play duck game with friends to be able to use the pistol with a lot of ammo to fly up by changing directions mid air over and over

the added context of having to rerecord every instance of the word 'shooter' last minute to avoid demonetization makes the intro a lot funnier
