Engine is coming along great Rob. Keep it up but let's get that site up so we can start buying parts from you. Definitely would support your shop before all the big companies.

This is very intriguing. I assume the factory 6.7 injectors are fired by an ECM and swapping to a P-pump requires a new set of mechanical injectors? The appeal for me with the 12 valve is in it being all mechanical. Would a p-pump’ed 6.7 be capable of running with out an ECM for folks looking to do a conversion? Why p-pump a 6.7?

when doing the 6.7 ppump the way i did it here is you use some vp44 24v parts / 12v parts and 6.7 parts all in one, the ppump 6.7 is basically just a fancy 12v

Can anyone comment on the legal status of p-pump conversions? Liked your video.

Hey I see you still have the 68rfe adapter on the 6.7. You gotta swap that out to a 48re adapter plate. 68s are thicker.

i will have to measure the housings. i didn’t know there was a difference

@@CUTTERUPROB yeah I do not remember how much thicker they are but I know when guys do the 48re swap on a 68 truck, they swap out the adapter plate.

You are right. The 68rfe plate is deeper. By .300. Thanks for mentioning that.

I know this is an older video but is the spray pattern on your injectors just a vp 44 spray or is it something else.

Stock vp44. The spray pattern from the vp44 and the 6.7 is basically the same

I just realized that the shorty is a 6.7. I want to do a 6.7 12v. D&j can custom cut bowls in their forged steel ring land pistons

Yep sure is. There pistons would be a easy setup. I have thought on this as well. One day when I have time
