I love the darksiders franchise it’s really awesome and I am hoping really hoping we actually get a darksiders 4 because that would be really awesome and badass.
Are you kidding? They had some problems but got bought out and the franchise has been continued with Darksiders 3 and Darksiders Genesis. Genesis is a budget game yes but it made sense at the time, next game is in the works currently. Darksiders is one of the best game franchises ever.
D III was a huge let down for me - gamepaly wise.D and D II felt like building up and then III came out. Genesis was a fresh one, but it was massively longer than it should have been.
What happened to that last game. The gameplay was totally different from the first 3. Was it a different developer or something. The last one was more of a different gameplay style like diablo and I didn't like that element change.
@@mr.blademonktravels1880 Simply budget version, it's not really the next game in the line, more like a side game. It's pretty obvious that it is a budget version with top down view, comic cinematic scenes, text dialogue exchange, however they kept the iconic voices so it's fine by me. Voice acting actually can be very costly in regards to games, cheap games generally do not have voice acting at all. Stray is currently one of the best and iconic cheap games from a small studio. It's a masterpiece for a cheap game and very unique.
Darksiders 3 is more souls like, default difficulty is heavier, classic dark souls tricks. That's the main issue cause in the other games you are legit very powerful, Fury feels weakier, has to constantly dodge and so on.
Darksiders died for me when they injected politics into it. A female rider? Sweet Baby Inc and DEI destroyed this franchise. Still play 1 and 2 on my PS3 but its dead.
i still think Darksiders 3 is the worst of the franchise because it felt WAY too different from the other 3 and u cant ride ur house and no map and it felt wonky with the enemies
I hate this "Strife needs a game if his own" narrative. He already has a game. Genesis IS a Strife game. War is there to help Strife shine and make sure not to alienate other fans, like Darksiders 3 did. We don't need yet another sidekick game with a character doing irrelevant crap and halting the story. We need the continuation from Darksiders 1, with all 4 horsemen.
