    I've been on a fitness journey for the past 6 months, where my focus has been on building strength, muscle...and a booty! 🍑 I've definitely noticed a huge transformation in my body since I've started my fitness routine, and part of that routine includes a change in what I've been eating. So in today's video I'm sharing what a typical day of eating looks like on my current fitness program. Alongside going to the gym regularly, my main focus has been hitting my daily protein and caloric targets. This is to support building muscle and strength, not necessarily weight loss. Let me know if you have questions or you want to see more videos about this!

    i'd recommend adding collagen or collagen creamer to your coffee in the morning- easy way to get extra protein! (vital proteins coconut creamer is my fav, and it mixes really well)
    i use flax milk for protein shakes- it's like 5g protein/1g carb per cup! great way to sneak in extra protein. i generally do 1 cup flax milk and top off with water

      Essentially - I’d rather fill my fat macros with other things thank the yolks. The egg whites are basically all protein so it’s a great way to reach the targets with more flexibility in what I eat for the rest of the day

    Love the recipes and encouragement to track max calories (if you know what yours are - there is a formula based on goals) and protein. How tall are you? 160g of protein would be for someone with a goal weight of 160. (Per my trainer and Dr. Gabrielle Lyons who just released the book on muscle centric medicine). We pee out the protein we don’t use, so I’m curious how you came up with the target of 160? Thanks I love your channel!❤

    I have been wanting to join a gym, but I need someone to help me figure out my calorie and protein needs along with my exercise regimen. Did your trainer provide you with both pieces of the puzzle? Or did you need to get a trainer and a nutritionist separately? If so, did your gym have both experts on-site for members? Trying to figure out next steps! Thank you for the great video!

    Be really careful with that soup! Because the broth is readymade, you're technically reheating it when making the soup, and so having leftovers means reheating it a second time which generally isn't recommended. Just makes sure it gets to 75 degrees celcius ♨
    I appreciate this video and i appreciate you 💫

      What's wrong with reheating soup a second time?

    • @Miliregretz
      @Miliregretz 8 місяців тому +5

      @@veronikalukacs337 Nothing per say, as long as you cook it again all the way through. When you cool down food, bacteria start inhabiting it. They will be dormant while the food is in the fridge, and cooking the food to 75 degrees will kill them off completely. If you just "reheat" to a comfortable temperature, the bacteria will return to life but not die. The more you repeat this process, the higher the risk of food poisoning. Hence the recommended only reheat once. Hope it makes sense! :)
