Great content, Steve and Joe. Really enjoyed this. I feel like some of my suspicions about striper were confirmed by Joe which excites me for the falls! Great stuff. Looking forward to the next video.
Great video Joe and Coop! Can’t wait for the sequel. I’ve always wanted to target large stripers n the Delta, but it’s tough unless you have experience.
Great breakdown and to the point. Thank you very much Joe and Coop. I use the Owner 41 and 45 for bass(STX if I can find them) it is good to hear they are recommended for stripers too.
I agree with Joe on swapping out stock hardware. I always switch out to owners 2 times for jerkbaits and medium size topwater lures. For my glide baits i use owners 3 times. It does alter the action and change the rate of fall but i personally don't mind at all. One thing i’ve learned is if i get followers on the glide bait but they're not committing to it someone else nearby can fire out a jerkbait in the area and work it fast to get that follower to become a biter.
There are good fish coming from Liberty area so yes. you can still get a good fish. Get out early or stay till dark for your best chance. Let me know how you do.
Biggest problem I have is figuring out where to find them..Only been successful when chasing birds..Literally tried breaks in levy’s all that..Csn never find em lol
The birds out here ain’t like the ocean but that’s why u ain’t finding nothing but shakers probably get a good fish finder and start Trolling the open channel with the right rigs I’m sure you can hook up on a decent size fish anythin by the Levi is small
I had a bad nightmare Stevie boy reminded me why I hate stripers in the nightmare. I grab a pair of sharp scissors, cut the face straight off to retrieve my hardware. I don’t know why they give me such nightmares. Bass is king 👺
@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 not today Coop! I may go to the little lake for a minute this morning. Happy Independence In Deep On The Delta. It does have big bass in it just doesn’t seem the same. It’s like trout fishing for planted fish. I do like trout fishing the rivers plants or native. Steve If You Fish Today B Safe Kid.

Thanks for the support Kenny, talk soon. Looking foward to doing another video.
In November where is your favorite area to fish
what hook covers you using on that baitsanity?
Do you think there’s a chance I could get a big striper in the delta right now? Since the run is technically over

@@indeeponthedeltawithstevec5997 thx I’ll give it a shot ima try around isleton the main sac river maybe I’ll get some keepers
This was great. Being a power fisherman, trolling is like drop shotting to me but worse. Great video with a guy with the knowledge.

I'm in the boat with you, I am hoping to get some good info on how to hunt stripers when we I get to do a trip with Joe.

I think I may have a nightmare now. Stripers are evil.
See You One The Water…
