@Billy William I get what you're saying, but I think the Borg would have a better time assimilating Dr. Manhattan. A cool twist is that they assimilate The Traveler, or Westley Crusher as a Traveler. Seeing time both forwards and backwards, I think Q, as I imagine the character to be, has transcended anyone's ability to be assimilated.
So their giving us the older, established Borg Queen look as opposed to the younger bikini/high heels clad Borg Queen look with the beauty pageant sash that simply says "BORG QUEEN" across it.
I don’t think so, probably disconnected the hive mind from the queen by capturing it. I would imagine they paralysed the drones like they do with bees. Once the queen is captured it would be relatively easy to destroy the rest.
The whole idea of a Borg queen ruined the Borg. They were far more terrifying in TNG when they were a hive mind lacking personality and which stripped people of their individuality. The emotional sex Borg queen from the movie ruined that in the interest of making the Borg more human. The thing that made them scary was their original utter lack of humanity. Lack of ego. And lack of emotional response.
