was exactly so, every single printer i bought. First my Artillery X1, until i really started printing things , i printed gantry parts to make it more rigid, different spool holders a.s.o ...Before i got my sovol, i printed other fan shrouds(never tried the sovol stock ones at the beginning), because of bad expierence on the stock X1, spool holders, and a lighting mount for the gantry, measured and tuned that thing for months, bimetall and all sorts of upgrades, then i had to use the stock fan shrouds because of deformation of the PETG custom shrouds and also not the best cooling expierience at some point. I designed, shroud over shroud, all disapointing🤣and then after a few years, i switched to the stock shrouds, and they outperformed all others 😝 Now I have a K1...you can guess three times 🤣 only one thing i changed! ok maybe two... the spoolholder and the PTFE tubing....to be continued 🤣😂🤣😂 maybe, sometimes i will print something useful NOT for a printer...just joking
You are spot on for me with my K1. I have 2 Ender 3 V2s and 3 S1s and was just tired of constantly messing with them and now with the K1, slice and print. So I figured that I'd make it pretty with orange/silver printed lid riser and 270 degree hinges as it's first prints. I thought it was fair for it to treat me well then it should look pretty damned cool.
I had extra screws for the filament sensor mod that I bought years ago, otherwise I'm not sure where you take them from.. If the wire wont reach it in the new position, go inside the machine and remove the rectangular cowl that covers the wires going from the bottom to the top of the machine. Its held on by tension. I was able to lightly wiggle the wire up and down and it untangled from something and I got another cm or 2 of wire to work with.

Hello, I have a K1 mannequin, but when I print at high speed, the printing surface quality decreases greatly due to vibration. I would be happy if someone could answer this with a solution.
What i do to add stickyness to my hotbed is cleaning it with isopropilyc alcool Then i add glue to the hotbed and put some a bit everywhere then i take my piece of cloth and wipe the surface with isopropilyc alcool not to remove the glue but to propagate it to the whole surface evenly With this technique i have never seen once again one of my prints loose adherence to the the hotbed
Love how the toolbox broke as it was assembled. Snaps do not work well with 3D printed stuff... And using filament as the hinge inner rod was a silly idea. The rest of the stuff was neat!
@@3DELWORLD I've had K1 for a few days and I'm looking for appropriate speeds for pla and petg because pla prints nicely at 325mm/s, but petg has holes and doesn't look too good
@@akfishing8149 No for PETG we need to lower the speed. If you have issues with Creality slicer then try ORCA slicer. surprisingly our next video is on ORCA slicer. 😃👍
Hello my friends very good video I like it. on the other hand it seems that your K1 is under extrusion I think that a check is necessary on the hardware or software side. the miles of ptfe that creality used may be the cause. good luck my friends
I had never heard of 3D printing a few years ago, now I can not live without it.
Indeed 😃
LOVE the improved hinge! really works well. I'm printing the fan covers right now. :)
Glad it helped 😊👍
i recommend the gear hinges so the door can open completely. i really like that
It's funny how people that first get a printer, print things for their printer. Not saying this is your first printer.

Oh Kay… I just got my k1 today and I’m printing every one of these!!!
Sounds good 😊👍
3:46 that is pretty strong VFA. Are you planning to deal with it and make a video guide about it?

Excellent video, thanks!
Glad you liked it😊👍
I may have to do the side spool holder and reposition the run out sensor. Reaching behind the machine is super frustrating.
I want you to make another video like this for the k1!
If you have any mods suggestions, let me know 😊👍

Great video. What is the red plastic pin you put in the tool kit to hold it together?
Probably a piece of filament
Did you do flow rate tuning and pressure advance tuning and z offset tuning before printing these for each filament?
Printed anything to get rid of that horrific VFA on your prints?
Not working with new tools in k1c
what slicer do you use for your creality?
Orca slicer
What is that allen wrench handle called?
It's called Allen Key T Handle here is the link: www.thingiverse.com/thing:5128330/files
