the pattern on the x and y is because of the large pulley on the stepper motor, which is causing the vertical fine artifacts (VFA) to be more noticable. If you want to correct this, change the xy stepper motors to .9 degree steppers and double the steps per mm in the firmware after the k1 becomes open source. :)
Someones else mentioned running VFA test as well, and then modify external layer speed accordingly... going to give that a shot and see what happens before swapping out motors !
The VFA's are the only thing thats making me think twice about getting the K1, Are the LDO 0.9 steppers compatible with this K1 printer though? I also heard the accelerometer/input shaping that the K1 has isn't actually very accurate

The printer was not getting enough power, that was the issue. It is printing better once I put it on its own circuit. I am completely new to this, my second benchy printed fast and flawless with no filament strings. I have seen videos with experienced people using the K1, but no one has done a video on the power requirement which makes a huge difference in the printing. You should try it. These videos are very time consuming and the money I make from UA-cam ads works out to be like $3 an hour - if I'm lucky. I get maybe a $1 in donations every couple weeks... so rather than try to get donations I'd rather give people something of value (ie. products) in exchange for money to keep running this channel. Some other creators may be in a position to lose money making videos strictly for fun but I have mouths to feed. I didn't cover the creality power boost kit because they never sent me one. I have one on order that I'm going to have to wait for until they ship but when I get it I'll be sure to make a video. Thank you

What do you mean by it stopping? Like the machine just stops halfway through the print? Or the part comes off the print bed? Or plastic stops extruding? More details and I'll see if I can help you
The printer was not getting enough power, that was the issue. It is printing better once
I put it on its own circuit. I am completely new to this, my second benchy printed fast and flawless with no filament strings. I have seen videos with experienced people using the K1, but no one has done a video on the power requirement which makes a huge difference in the printing. You should try it. The same issues probably with the K1 Max, put that thing on it's own circuit and it will
perform to it's optimum. @@EmbraceMaking
Input shaping when slicing with Prusa is TERRIBLE with the K1 ... I must be doing something worng??
What kind of problems specifically are you seeing?
@@EmbraceMaking Slight Ghosting around sharp areas, such as embossed items... I printed an iron man faceplate with the creators embossed logo and it was ghosted off to the left of the logo.... I'm assuming a belt needs tightened. I'm new to CORE XY

Yes I do, if you go to my website you should be able to get shipping rates to Turkey. If you don't see it in the country list, use the contact form on my website and contact me through there. We can work it out and I can get you a custom shipping quote. Thanks!
IMHO video was good until you started the upgrades that you sell. Why was there nothing about the creality k1 power boost kit that Creality are selling to add better features (FYI 2$).
Thanks, I know some people don't like "commercials" but I run a small business to help put food on the table for my family. The alternative is I don't make videos or upgrades and products and spend my valuable time working a different job. Thank you
with problem. do not buy. no solutions from creality
What kind of problems did you run into?
I’m running 6 of them 24/7 with no issues…….
Where do I go from downloading the ini file? I am stuck like so many I ask. I cant see anywhere in Prusa to insert the ini ? Thank you.
Hi Michael, head on over here: embracemaking.com/blogs/resources/creality-k1-prusaslicer-configuration
scroll to the bottom and click the link that says Click here to download the Prusaslicer profile for the Creality K1
When you open PrusaSllicer, go to File > Import > Import Config and then find the .ini file you downloaded. This will load everything in for you, let me know if that helps
Thank you!@@EmbraceMaking
You're welcome!
