Fasting when revising can be hard when you start revising in the morning, but soon enough I don't notice the hunger and just try and do what I can. Great video!

Wow! That’s crazy that you do all this even while fasting. I am fasting too and I’m getting lazy. Do you have any tips to get less lazy? I know it’s a stupid question but I always can’t be bothered to work whilst fasting

Idk why but I’ve felt more productive this Ramadan, maybe because I didn’t have to waste any time eating so I have more time to work. My biggest motivator is to have a todo list on my desk so whenever I want to procrastinate, I see that I’ve got stuff to do. One thing I’ve started doing also is following my school timetable and doing revision whenever I would normally have a lesson and then having breaks during break and lunch, it works really well

how do I stay focused for science? I’ll get my physics textbook out and start reading, then get distracted as I find it really boring. I know it’s a bad habit but I can’t stay focused on subjects I don’t like and science for me is a bore. Have any tips?

I struggle to motivate myself with revision a lot cause I know I can do well without it (my lowest mock grade was a 6 in further maths, and I got 3 grade 9s) so this really helps cause I know I need to revise 😅 any tips for how to start?
Start with something small and easy to do so for example the 5 a day and then you will probably be motivated to do some more stuff also

It's annoying because Ramadhan has ruined my schedule. Wake up at like 11am, revise till 5 or 6, iftar at 7-8, and then taraweeh, then sleep at 2am, then wake up at 4am then sleep at 5.30, like ugh, not very productive
Yeah it’s annoying how we have to adjust for Ramadan but tbh, my routine is more or less the same, after Taraweeh I go straight to sleep so I can wake up at 8-9ish the next day

You can get better by learning vocab+tenses for a start then moving onto practise questions
How many hours do you spend on each subject? And when did you start doing 5 a day questions, like did you start in yr 10 or 11?
I started five a day a week ago and idk how much I spend on each subject, I just do as much as I feel like, I never count hours
Any tips for mastering the structure/ themes and context for An Inspector Calls?
I normally don’t write out entire responses and only do an intro and one paragraph, it’s my first time doing it after a very long time so any quick recap tips?
I can’t speak for you but for me I plan out major themes/ characters and make plans for essay through intros and quotes and then write them up and revise quotes on the bus. I do of mice and men and it work really well try it. Might help.
Yep that’s good advice, what I personally do is 3 paragraphs. If it’s a character, I split each paragraph by Act and if it’s a theme, I have P1 for older generation, P2 for younger generation and P3 on Inspector.

I’d say anywhere between 1-3 hours depending on how much you need to catch up on
Hi, find the poetry anthology really challenging and don't know the poems very well at all! How did you approach learning the content for your anthology prior to starting exam questions?
Lots of essay practise and just improving on mistakes, and I’ve learnt three quotations from each poem as well as the overall structure and a bit of context behind the poets

I’d say about 2-4 hours currently depending on how motivated I am and how much I want to work

To be honest I don't even notice I'm fasting halfway through the day, so that's when I try to work, then I start getting really hungry when Iftar comes about.
@@NoumanSami same honestly, I’ve kept every fast since I was 10 and it’s getting easier day by day. I remember iftar being at 9.45 once!

English PD and RE are just 🤮It has made my soul leave my body and RE isn't helping it, so depressing 🙄
RE is one of my favourite subjects, I find it really interesting, we do Islam and Christianity which makes it easy for me as I’m already Muslim so that helps. My main tip tbh is to try to be able to do every past paper question you can find and just get lots of practise done, I’m not really too sure about your exam board so I can’t give specific question advice but yeah hope that somewhat helps

can u give some advice on revising for french from now? ive made flashcarsd on forming the tenses and ive got response for the speaking. but speaking and writing is my main concern
Learn those responses and watch UA-cam videos on examplar writings and see what they use, and learn your vocab!
How often would you recommend to revise a day considering I only properly started revising last week and the first exam being may 16th?
ik yu didn’t ask me but personally, i do 3 subjects a day (approximately spend 1hr-1hr30mins per subject). however, sometimes, i have a day off just to chill/let my brain rest as it’s important yu do so for ya mental health or even jus to let ya brain “breathe” (good use of personification there😹😎)
Yep I completely agree with Kuro, at the end of the day you need to see how much you need to get done by GCSEs and work out from there how many hours you’ll need to work each day to achieve it
In the run in to GCSEs, how much do you think I should revise after school each day when I get home for the last few weeks ?
I’m probably doing 2hours ish each day but it honestly depends on how much homework you have on the day and what work you want to get done

Hi I am in year 10 and I have no idea how to revise. I have tried flashcards and I've tried to write notes but nothing helps. And I'm losing my motivation. I have mocks after Ramadan and I'm freaking out.

Okay, first calm down, you’re in year 10 so you still have time to figure out what works, for now, I suggest going over the topics you need to revise for by looking at exam questions and simply seeing if you can do them, then try and attempt them also. If you don’t understand the topic, maybe watch videos
Best thing is not to panic, if you know you have exams, stressing about it won’t help

Hmm that’s an issue, I think right now you should try and find a balance between the two if you cannot leave your job temporarily, but yeah good luck though!
Since you are very good at these can I ask u if it is okay if I still make notes bcuz it’s my way of learning BUT I am doing lots and lots of past papers as soon as I finish one topic
It’s completely fine how you find best to learn so take notes if it works for you, just remember to do your past papers and practise questions :)

We got rid of the novel because we did poems at the start of year 10 and so removing poems would heavily restrict our schedule, still very annoyed though

I was quite lazy today actually, I did barely anything which is unusual for me but I didn’t feel that bad because I had gotten all I wanted to get done in these holidays already
Well done I'm prod of you sadly djdnt accomplish my goal but I did some work , I have a bio mock back and just focusing on that.
Taking break i good and I dont want to stress you but I think it's important you do some extra work as it it is important you give it you all then relax for 3 months during the summer. Trust me it will pay off when you see those grade 9s, inshallah you get all 9s. I know you can do this!!!
To be honest, I don’t really see a different when you eat or don’t eat for Sehri, like you’ll still get hungry during the day time 🤷♂️
I’ve never actually tasted without eating sehri so I don’t really know the difference, but it’s sunnah to so I might as well
