@@kingdomcitizenship5613 nah the carlton role did... There's a story about the show in which they were allowed to pick their character's names. Will chose his real name in case the show blew up. He didn't wanna be known AS the character. Alfonso did a helluva job as Carlton, and that's how he's remembered. He was in the movie Ticks, back in the day and he was good. He could've used some serious roles to break the idea of him as Carlton. Never happened but he's a dope actor nonetheless

I met him in Hawaii back in 1989 gave and him props for his Pepsi commercial with Michael Jackson (at that time I was impersonating Michael Jackson at The Hilton Hawaiian Village and Cilly's Night Club where he was that night) and I asked him what was new with him. He told me he was really excited about a show he just auditioned for and was now a part of. I congratulated him and said, "I looked forward to seeing it man!". He humbly said thanks and, "I've got a feeling it is gonna be a really great show.... At least I hope it is. But I've got a really good feeling about it". And of course, he was right! lol. More than he could have probably ever imagined. Great seeing he's still positive and productive using his gifts and talents and sharing his wisdom with us after all these years. Salute!

      Mr. Magoo
Man, that's how they do. Grand Puba has a line on that song "Don't Let It Go To Your Head"... "C'mon, dead that. That's the tenth time I've heard that... all you know is 'gimme'... I work hard for every penny that I make... video and tape... LP and CD, if I fall, you feeding me?... no dough to spread, always keep a level head... as long as my seeds get fed, it won't go to my head."
You covered that when you mentioned how they weren't around when you were broke and depressed.
