- Have you seen the newest rage, butter boards? These are right up my alley, foodie friends, I am obsessed with butter. And salt. My two obsessions come together in one beautifully styled board! Four flavored butters for crackers, bread or crudite. And at the end... special appearances by @HouseofNashEats and @SugarSpunRun ! Butter is better with friends.

BUTTER BOARD INGREDIENTS:
o 24 ounces salted butter , softened (3 blocks)*
Section 1
o 1 tablespoon chopped fresh herbs , basil, thyme, rosemary, parsley, chives
o 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt
o 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
o zest of one lemon
Section 2
o 2 tablespoons roasted garlic , lightly smashed
o 1 tablespoon aged parmesan cheese
o 3-4 fresh basil leaves , cut chiffonade style
Section 3
o 1 fresh fig , thinly sliced or chopped
o honey , for drizzling
Section 4
o 1 tablespoon pistachios
o 3-4 fresh mint leaves , sliced thin
o zest from one orange

Can you tell us which brands are the best?
In France we love butter but it is composed of fats and too much (and this is way too much to eat like that) causes obesity, hypertension, cancer and heart disease.
It may be possible you have listened to the food freaks to much. Fats are essential in our diets. They are robbed from our foods and replaced with sugars, the only way to restore flavor. False flavour at that.
