Excellent presentation guys. Quick question... with the DPE shortage, what kind of wait are students experiencing for checkrides after they meet the requirements for a certificate or rating? Thanks fellas. Ben
We use the Sling NGTs because they burn 3.5 gph of fuel (instead of 10+ gph in a Cessna), have beautiful glass cockpits with autopilot that prepare you for the airlines, and they’re fun to fly. Thanks for asking!
Maybe skywest can get some pilots to actually fly us home in the U.P. of Michigan when schedule in a nice sunny calm day. Largest regional partner. Ha!! And yet always find away to make a delay weather connected. Horrible, now they cut the flights to the airport rather than fix the problem... we travel hundreds of miles to not fly skywest cause we have deadlines too stable company alright
SkyWest is not the best regional out there to be honest, yes they pump in pilots but to my understanding pilots get treated like 💩and pay is on the low side for a regional airline. Have friends onboard with SkyWest and it’s what I’ve been told… Side note a great way to build hours fast

I started at Sling. Ended up buying my own airplane. Still fly out of Torrance. Great interview!
What airplane did you end up buying? 🛩
Thank you for the inspiring video!
Great video guys ❤
Absolutely great video! I look forward to meeting you all soon as I start shortly at the San Diego location.
Excellent! Welcome to the Sling Pilot Academy family!!
Great interview.
Thanks! Glad you liked it
Why aren't you flying 50 yr old Cessna's?

Last I looked a first year first officer gets $90/hr. I haven't seen any other regionals offering much more. Maybe envoy was $100/hr?
