I saw this video months ago and have been looking for it since. This is by far one of my favorite videos on youtube of all time and i cant explain why. Im so happy i found it again. Ima watch this now and send it to all my friends. Have a good day.
Thanks man appreciate that I just uploaded another winter camping hot temp video couple weeks ago go to my channel check it out thanks again for watching
Nice winter setup. For the chimney of the packer (5 inches), did you have to cut the hole of the stovejack on the onetigris tent? If yes, do you find it’s safe for the tent with this size of hole? Thank you!
Good video. A very thorough presentation of all of your Tacti-cool equipment. The only thing that appears to be missing is you burying that unlucky backpacker.
So you need a large tarp that is a lot larger than the floor of your tent to be used as the floor of your tent so as it warms up you aren’t walking around in standing water and mud.
with a fire stove inside the tent, what would be the temperature expected inside the tent? my friends and I also plans to go camping in winter, with a similar tent, but its our first time. thus we are unsure, how warm could it get?
Awesome video and hot tent setup. I have been wanting a hot tent for a while now except I would mostly be using it on those cold nights in the desert. Out in New Mexico most of our forest close gates. I suppose a pack a pack and hiking into the woods to setup a Hot Tent. But the desert does get plenty cold also.. I love the dinner. That looked delicious over that wood stove. Haha, I love it. Oatmeal and a rockstar for breakfast!
Looks like soapstone basin.. never thought id see a smaller tent than my polish Lavvu. Great Job! If your ever in the Kamas area, hit me up and we can do a winter campout.
really enjoyed this video, good work a lot of effort and awesome editing I can tell. I am heading out tomorrow with over 2 feet of snow down 0 F for two days muzzleloading hunting. great work
From someone who got the same tent.. But a lightweight stove. Do you let the stove burn thru the night? Keep feeding it? Or just let it run out and re-light in the morning? :) Also hello from Sweden prettty near Mora where the knives come from.
This is the only video on these popular (approx 5ftx10ft) hot tents where the guy sets up his sleep system/bed rolls correctly for this size of tent. 99.9% of the other video show the bed rolls on the left or right of the door opening. Which, imo, cuts you off completely from entering the tent *effortlessly* due to the stove on one side in the way, and your sleep system on the other in the way. Sure, there's some room. But if you set up your bedroll at the BACK like 801 has done, you now have the entire front section and left side for a chair, food prep - your gear/wood occupies the space behind the stove. Entering and exiting is a breeze, especially if you're a normal sized man. But if you're a buck 40 and 4ft tall, this tent is a palace and it doesn't matter how you set it up I guess
Forgot to include this tent is guyed out correctly to provide maximum space. Very well presented and hands down my favourite video for this style and size of hot tent
Awesome video mate :) love the way you created it. I know what you mean about the stove being a bit big.... Having said that I would rather be stuck outside with a stove that a little big than a stove that's too small.....you can always put less wood in a bigger stove... But if you get caught out with a stove too small then your fkd lol. Anyway great vid. Loved it.. Took me on a journey mate.
i dont what i do is throw a hand full of dirt in there before i start the fire i should make myself something before i damage the stove but so far so good
@@801Outdoors I use sand/ dirt as well. So far, so good... I read about using a cookie sheet and drilling holes in it for ventilation. I might try that some day.
the tent is great its just my stove is a little to large for it , and i know i didnt show it in the video but that particular rockstar really did taste like shit i poured it out after a couple drinks lol thanks for watching ray
Great video. Tried to get out there this weekend and the ice kept me from getting there. Was -4 too. Would have been a great day trip. Like the drone footage! How did you do that alone?
Cool set up. I love hot tenting in the snow. Great area, where is it? Drone footage was nice, cool terrain and I like the camp spot with the trees spread out.
Don't waste your time on a video that starts with a shot through this windshield. If the creator has that little imagination, you don't want anything to do with them
Thanks for the comment I’m sorry this video didn’t fit your standards I’ll try harder next time i’m still new at it thanks again don’t forget to subscribe

You should be fine as long as you’re putting wood in the stove you’ll be warm in the tent It’s when you fall asleep and the fire goes out You get cold
One tigris, 801 , 902, 999, 911, 666, im lost! Superb editing!! Silence speaks volumes!! Good on you sir!

When he is drink the beer at 10:34 you can see what could be an orb. It goes towards him then back towards the camera. Too cold for bug?
I think that was a light reflection from the can
I've been eyeballing those tents... Looked like a pleasant overnight.

And that's what I like! The gun at your fingertips! Only the dog is missing! I to mi się podoba! Pistolet w zasięgu ręki!! Brakuje tylko psa!
