- Tensions are rising at a historic Orthodox Christian monastery in Kiev. The church has played a crucial role in both Russian and Ukrainian history, but earlier this month, the government ordered its monks to leave, accusing them of having ties with Moscow. As Daniel Padwick reports, the monks are not for moving.

Ukraine has NO sense of self-awareness. Ukraine fails to follow even basic ideas of democracy. I support Ukraine, but every time I see nonsense like this, my desire to support Ukraine lessens. I follow many Orthodox and politics channels online, and based on what I see, I do not think I am alone in my sentiment.
