The court chose a measure of restraint for Metropolitan Pavlo, the abbot of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. He is suspected of inciting inter-religious discord and justifying Russian aggression. Its a difficult issue, as religious freedom, or rather the perception of it, is a good tool for these traitors to use. Be very careful as creating martyrs is a very costly social result that will have haunting effects.

The Ukrainian government should allow freedom of speech and religion; otherwise the Ukrainian government becomes no better than the Russian government. In the U.S., with our First Amendment, there would be no such thing as laws against "inciting inter-religious discord" and "justifying Russian aggression." I was struck by the way of blessing the people by this church leader? in this video with what is supposed to be holy water! He was literally throwing it like a weapon over the people!
