- Anna and I start getting the calendar ready in January! This year I filmed some of the images as we set up the scene for each one. It is often quite hilarious, the lengths we go to in order to get exactly the picture I want! This year, I have featured many of my quilts, both finished and works in progress throughout the year. Enjoy!

I' m so glad that have found your site. It's very interesting to watch and admire your work and take some ideas for me. Some years ago I understood I have a lot of good clothes we don't use .There were my clothes, my children 's , and my grandchildren 's clothes. And I decided to sew something. And now I made several counterpanes for country house.
One of them were made from old geans. And it looks very beautiful. I' ll be very glad to make the acquaintance with you.

I loved this, all of the magic spots in Kate's home!! The tree house door! The stunning moss covered stone walls! The decoupaged kitchen door! The gardens bursting with gorgeous flowers!❤❤❤

Oh, so much fun and adventure at The Last Homely House ❤😊. I thought the fennel up the nose was quite amusing, and the quilt gorgeous. There's many times I cringe cutting Kaffe's beautiful fabrics. And after you let go of your bar, it stood on it's own. 😂 Thank you both for inviting over for a visit. ❤😊

7:44 On normal days (not filming days) hang a quilted banner from that branch, so the boys won't bang their heads on the branch instead they can bang their heads on the banner. I'm thinking it could say "don't cut me off", but I'm sure you'll think of something more "Kate". 💖🌞🌵😷

Thank you Kate and Anna, your efforts with the canes paid off. I was yelling at the screen that you needed another leg of cane to make a tripod, then it would have been stable. Memories of making similar structures in the Guides came flooding back. The quilts are all wonderful.

My calendar arrived last week and I love that I know what went behind taking the photos. I just love that Anna is behind a quilt holding up the frame and with fennel up her nose! It brings last homely house into my house ❤😂
Do replace those treehouse stairs as soon as you can. Nice to see Anna and Frank. Perhaps 2025 could feature family, friends and animals along with the crafty items. Just an idea.

I’m so envious of the relationship that you and Anna have! My husband is an only child and my MIL and I did not have a good relationship! She has passed away now. The night before she died she was in the hospital after having surgery for a broken hip. We were leaving and she called me back and threw her arms around me and gave me a hug! The next morning when we found out she had passed away I was so sad, wondering what it could have been like if she had been that accepting of me for the past 45 years I had been her DIL. It still makes me sad but at least I got that one hug! And she taught me a lot about being a MIL! I just had to order my calendar! Can’t wait to get it. It’s been so fun to see behind he scenes adventures!

I love your garden it's like the flowers are free. I live in the state of Alabama in USA. I live in the southern part of the state,there is no way we could have a free garden like that we would be overrun with copperhead moccasins and rattle snakes. Too dangerous. Love your channel enjoy watching so much.
