Hi I have the same engine, I need to buy a head gasket but can’t buy one with out knowing the serial number on the engine block and I can’t find it. They say it’s on the left side but I can’t find it nowhere. If you could help I would appreciate it. The engine is still in the skid steer and it’s hard to see on the sides of the engine. Thanks don h
@@Talbot_Industries Ok, thank you anyway. Do you have an idea where i can get some measurements or technical drawings of the flywheel? Perkins would not give me those... I bought the same skidsteer as you did but it came without an flywheel....
@@alexmaier2915 most should be an SAE layout. i believe the perkins uses an SAE 4. (measure it) www.sbmar.com/articles/understanding-bellhousing-and-flywheel-measurements/ has all the details. just need to measure the bore and bolt pattern to connect to the crank and have a ring gear.
Hi I have the same skidsteer and was considering repowering it. Can I get your email address to discuss this further? I really like what you have done here!! Thx Randy
