Repowering a Junk Skid Steer With The Wrong Engine,

I bought this early 80s bobcat skid steer that was in non running condition, that was my 1st mistake then we found out it had already been repowered with a too small engine, now its our turn to put a bigger wrong engine in it. what problems could that cause?
