- I saw this super cool pedal at NAMM 2020 and I had to get it to check it out and use on my pedalboard and recordings. Happy watching, Thanks!

Wow - grapefruit sounded way heavier then I thought it would!
Great demo man, keep it up
Great video, thanks for doing this!
Sick tone!
I love that Blue Ribbon tone!
I also love that Blue Ribbon taste!
Smoothie was my fave! Ketchup was my second fave! Need to pick one of these up
Nice video, my favorite was the green smoothie and red wine. Waters and clear alcohols sounded too similar
Thanks! Yeah my favorite was the green smoothie too, too bad that wouldn't last very long in the pedal without getting mold and stuff
This is soo sick
Very nice review, I was actually digging the Mountain Dew. You can even mix liquids so if you want more highs and less gain add water.
Yeah definitely! The possibilities are literally endless
it's very interesting how this channel evolved from classic lego skits to an awesome pedal demo
Very interesting!
Carpet cleaner had a live sound to it before he cranked the distortion ⬆️
Apple sauce and Buffalo sauce had a great low gain Fuzz Face tone to it. Throw in a good OD into that and you’d have a killer fuzz drive tone!
What love to see this done with mercury, although that would be a bit dangerous. Great work, though!
That was my second thought about it. I think anyone can guess a mans first idea of what to fill it with..
@@just.off.the.a4208 lol
@@ConstantineM just for science. 'Man juice' gives a very dark, full bodied drive, similar to that of the big muff (english muff'n) 😂
@@just.off.the.a4208 omg :D I'm laughing. Thanks for making this test, so we don't need to do that
the green smoothie was so good! good luck keeping that going on the road though haha. almost seems better for finding tones you want to replicate than using it itself
I thought of this using the pedal also, it's probably better for a studio environment rather than for gigs unless you really like the sound of easily acquirable and non spoilable liquids
So weird it sounds like what you put in it lol. It sounded like tequila and applesauce and when you did PBR it went southern rock tone that’s awesome lol
That dawn dish soap was actually killer 😂 disappointed in the milk tbh
Yeah it was like muddy sounding a little bit but that might sit better in a mix maybe!
I think Applesauce and Liquid Smoke are my favs
Still waiting for someone to try out nacho cheese.
Cool shit
Thought for sure the blue ribbon was gonna make it sound like a banjo
The smoothie was the best
Water with a smidge of dog feces makes a reverb sound
I wonder what human blood would sound like
That was my first response upon hearing about this. Gonna start a Doom Metal band called Blood Fuzz and everyone is gonna have this pedal with blood in it. HAHA
@@RipperStudio bro that is a perfect idea let me join
@Atman Gotango oh😳
Human blood= death metal sound
Goat/pig blood=black metal sound
Trans semen
I'm not hearing much difference - ??
Same here
How not.
Thats because its a gimmick, only 1 liquid is needed
It’s not a gimmick, things are happening, it’s a matter of if you think enough is happening for it to matter to you or not (and yes the ones where you see them sending it through something using alligator clips are fake)
te falto sin liquido que pasara??? bro y de precio si esta caro, vale la pena??
my favorite is milk
Use thickened water
So what's happening in the pedal? Does it work with a photometric sensor or something?
To my knowledge all the different liquids do is complete the circuit which is why some are muddy, dirty, etc
Best way to hear a major difference is wearing headphones
Bummer. I thought they all sounded the same. But I did not use headphones. The thing is, at a live gig.... The audience isn't gonna be wearing headphones....
It seems like a light sensor
More like rose than red wine
Cool video, but the wave form in pro tools, and the sound, seems like it's clipping in parts. When setting your gain aim for -10db on the volume meter in pro tools.
tequila sounds best. but the differences are pretty small and you can do more with simple eq. so it´s just a kid toy anyway..
Well yer a blobfish
Conclusion; All liquids pretty much sound the same but Rainger FX probably wanted to see who would be the first to pee into a guitar pedal and put it on UA-cam. So far no yet!
Ok maybe that's just my own disturbing thoughts on this pedal.
They literally said NOT to use bodily fluids
I saw someone use blood, and it sounded very heavy and metal hahaha
Is there a way to make it sound clean? Anyway is pretty much the same, I liked ketchup though
No, it's an overdrive/distortion, it's not meant for clean tones
Does the amount of liquid effect the sound, as well as the type?
I didn't test the amount of liquid but you'd have to really be precise about pouring. It's a very small cup so I don't think it would make much of a difference if at all
@@mrpres17 ok Thank you 👍
I only use dirty bong water
😂
I notice very little difference between all of the various liquids.
🥛
🍻
How do you clean it?
Water with a little bit of soap and 2 paper towels
Nice
Lo quiero probar con miados
Damn, Mark IV with Vintage 30s, yikes. Never at a loss for top-end.
This is an OD? This sounds way more like a Fuzz. A REALLY unpredictable Fuzz, I'd say if someone stays away from germanium due to the fact that it changes tone with temp changes, this will probably be something to keep at home.
This seems like something you buy, use it for a little while, and put it away. If they don't sell in big numbers then it's bound to be something collectors are searching for in 15 years. Personally I just see way too many issues putting permanently on a pedalboard, especially if you gig regularly, or least it would be an issue for me. I kick things over too much, move them around; I can't buy white shirts, as much a I like them, because they last on average 15-20 minutes before I spill on them and they get stained permanently. I just predict sparks from my power supply, or I break the lid on it and it becomes useless.
I have the high end rolled down and I've since switched to using evm 12L's that sound awesome! Yea I can't really see myself using this live, but it's a great way to get unique sounds in the studio!
They all sound the same
It seems like the pedal gets more raunchy with acidic liquids.
