“I really liked it” is making me REALLY wanna buy the theory course
Watch what you say about Texas boy
Bilb Ono don’t you mean stupid
@@the_original_Bilb_Ono he was joking.
@@layz_gaming_4275 i was too, youre missing the reference.
That stupid telegraph pedal would be the easiest thing to make for I’m sure a fraction of the price of that dumb thing
Here are some synonyms for "weird" so you can continue to make this series:
Extraordinary
Wacky
Out-of-this-world
Insane
Mysterious
Wild
Quirky
Curious
Far-out
Outlandish
Uncanny
Funky
Freaky
And my personal favorite, kooky.
Thanks Sammy G, and keep on rockin in the free world.
I like kooky too.
Oddball
Bananas
Freaky Deaky
flabbergasting
mind-boggling
Way-out!
So the swarm is basically like a fuzz pedal on copious quantities of cocaine
Marthinus Steynberg ye
The fuzz was made on accident by a broken saturation effect, this must be a saturation broken in a few more ways than one.
*buzz pedal
its got that weird psychedelic honey made by bees sucking hallucinogenic flowers n stuff
@@InfraRedNeck 'Copious Quantities of Cocaine Would Make a Good Name For a Rock Band' would make a good name for a rock band.
“It would seem that olive oil is not a great conductor of electricity.”
Never though I’d hear that in one of these vids lol
Sounded sick tho
@@roryphillips57 I agree, sadly that box costs 150 bucks
Olive oil made the sickest fuzz sound I’ve ever heard
I want that pedal so badly. You can get so many fuzzes or distortions
Very disappointed you didn't play jazz on the Bee pedal
2/10 not very Barry B Benson
io504 bb king?
@@hanreality.7266 wat?
*Ya like jazz?*
I want to be a bee but Sammy couldn't help me with that. 1/10
Or Jizz in that last pedal.
That telegraph effects is straight up from tom morello's dream
True😂...
i thought it sounds a little like buckethead too
It's basicly just like a killswitch, but you can actually play while using it.
It’s a reverse kill switch. I need it.
It was kind cool tbh!!!
4:52 : Tom Morello wants to know your location
Strange how it sounds like something straight out of a RHCP song. Especially the melody
Caesar Salad it’s sounds really good too
Caesar Salad probably because he’s playing several dead notes
It just seems like an external killswitch
I was just thinking of this
Rainger FX Minibar: for when you need that "Spunky" sound. (Actual "Spunky" Sound will void warranty.)
And yet, still no one with the balls to try it in a demo video. I actually find that weirder than the act itself.
@@AnodyneHipsterInfluencer if I had the pedal I would do it. Maybe not necessarily show the act, as that's probably best suited for a different video platform, but the tone test should suffice.
Save the act for live gigs. If you're in studio you can get the engineer to "tweak" it.
@@guy_incognito "in the box" so to speak.
To get the creamiest tone you need to take some risks and void the warranty
that marshmellow pedal sounds like 90% of the mac demarco side of youtube
also you remind me of Judah from bojack horseman
Judah best character
@@matthijsblomjous3671 nah dude, fucking Rafiki is the one
@@matthijsblomjous3671 I exclaimed with joy upon the return of his character.
YES SAME
I like how the different liquids really produced a different sound. You could create a unique tone that requires an actual secret sauce!
I would've liked to hear something with a higher alcohol content, like whisky, vodka, tequila or something.
When you said bodily fluid i was really not thinking of pee
Bongo Cat yeah I was thinking breast milk
N U T
Put the pedal in a jar.
I can see a black metal guitarist making a blood sacrifice to this pedal on stage
@@Echin0idea tbh blood might sound cool because of its iron content.
Honestly, when you mentioned the disclaimer about "bodily fluids", my brain immediately went to the idea of some emo band somewhere passing their guitar signal through the guitarist's blood.
Sounds more Norwegian black metal than emo
That would probably sound fuckin sick in the pedal though
Emo band would use their tears instead of their blood lol!!
That's just slipknot with less steps
honestly, i was thinking that too, that'd be sick
Even after all these years, I still anticipate the Korg Miku Pedal in videos like this....
I believe that he actually reviewed it!
@@pp-wo9zk He absolutely did my man!
Yeah it was in one of the first ones he did.
You don’t need the bee pedal to get your guitar to sound like bees, you need a metal zone
Dorian Suchy you need a swarm of Metal Zones.
Are there people out there who unironically use a Metal Zone?
@@rolux4853 it was pretty common in some swedish death metal scenes back in the day
Not if you use it as the preamp it is
No you just need to kick your amp really hard
08:20 - Yeah... “Whizz” is what crossed my mind when they said bodily fluids void the warranty...
I actually liked the telegraph pedal really much. I think this can be used really creativly!
7:48: "let's try olive oil"
*GORDON RAMSAY WANTS TO KNOW YOUR LOCATION*
WHERES THE DISTORTION SAAAAUCE!!!???
I think you mean Jamie Oliver, he puts olive oil on literally everything, it's become a running joke. I once saw him on a British TV show putting olive oil on _ICECREAM_ and claiming that this is done a lot in Italy, which sounds like a complete load of shite to me
That telegraph stutter pedal looks incredible! I’ve wanted a pedal that gives that effect ever since I heard “True Nature” by Janes Addiction so many years ago!!!
K but imagine the Spinner but it getting blasted with compressed air to get maximum effect
Or attach a motor with a belt
Or just buy a multi-effects pedal....
This video makes me nostalgic for the beginning of coronavirus, when I started sleeping on the floor watching your vids til late at night... I am now doing the same thing, almost a year later. Not much has changed but still nostalgic
I'm not a "big fan" of that tremolo expression pedal.
P.S. I should have watched that whole demo before I commented. His puns were better than mine.
The Bee peda'sl "setting 1 'Bee yourself'" is essential for playing "Let The Good Times Roll" by The Cars.
I want that marshmallow one so bad. I could actually see myself writing stuff with it
I just recently got the marshmallow, super high tolerances on that thing, like it'll just break for no reason
this is a collection of some of my favorite pedals, and now there's a really good demo i can send my friends. hopefully they appreciate your content
Imagine someone pouring Budweiser onto his pedal-board on stage
The "Chuck Out Your TV" setting on the Marshmallow sounds like the automated pitch shifting effect on Muse - Map Of The Problematique!
I'm pretty sure that's a reference to Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Throw Away Your Television" that also uses an automated pitch shifter in the last part of the song.
@@m4ssee its a step sequencer actually
@@automaticwriting4345 True, I don't know what I was thinking.
Ha. I just discovered and binged this series yesterday, and now there's a new one today. Perfect!
Holy crap what is that strat? It looks amazing
@@brockmurphy1747 Looks like he swapped out the metal pickguard.
I was just about to comment this myself. That is probably the most gorgeous strat I've ever seen... neck to body to pick-guard. If this is a series, I'd really like to know the name, even though I'm not going to buy one.
I came to comments looking for the same answer lol
It's a Fender Rarities model. He did a whole video about it here: ua-cam.com/video/2RLtPTrZkJI/v-deo.html
This is probably my favorite series for gear. Love seeing these weird pedals.
Bruh imagine pulling up to gig and saying "hold up i forget my dishsoap" lmao
Great video! I really enjoy your commentary, guitar playing and weird pedal demos!
PLEASE continue this soon so i can watch it under quarantine i need this channel 💪💪
So basically the Marshmellow is just a Thank You Scientist impersonator
I’d listen to an entire record consisting of extended versions of these little examples you make for each pedal.
Dude! I love your tongue in cheek style, informative yet fun....and definitely not boring!
I feel like this is your best video yet of testing crazy petals!!
And I would buy most of those this time.
if he hes gonna make his guitar sound like a bee, then the ONLY LEGAL piece to play is flight of the bumblebee at a very sAcrIleGiOuS tempo
Darn Ling Ling wannabes are everywhere nowadays!
"He hes"? Who are you, Michael Jackson?
Davie504 and TwoSetViolin references in 1 comment. Epico.
He's to dangerous to be left alive
"Chuck out your TV", I see what you did there, nice one :)
The Telegraph was cool AF! It's like having a Les Paul toggle for your foot! Very handy for those with a blade-switch who want that Gibson cutout ala Ace Frehley.
6:38 He's talking about me. I could really use that one on my pedalboard! And the Coppersound Telegraph is very cool as well.
04:36 it's basically a killswitch but inversed
Could be cool if it had an opposit mode, which in it wuld cut the signal when pressed.
firstName lastName There is. That’s what the little switch is for. Rob Scallon has used one of these before and then went into detail on his second channel.
You read my mind
"I really liked it" with reviews like that I'll take 20.
I like how there is a 'chuck out your tv' setting on the Marshmellow pedal.
Emulating Throw Away your Television by RHCP
I'm impressed how you can get something musical from almost all these strange pedals. Nice work Sammy G!
Perfect for my worship band
Remember not to over play! Dont up-show the lord!
What?
Just move onto made up words: “the shmaggeriest pedals!”
Every word is made up.

The last effect for the Marshmallow pedal sounded sooooo good
Petition for request of a full song made by the telegraph stutter pedal. That little snip you played was SO DOPE!
CHUCKKK OUUUTTT YOURR TELEVISISONNNN
why did no one get this yet
TIME TO MAKE THIS CLEAN DECISION
Yea was shocked it wasn’t a top comment tbh
synonyms for weird titles because i don't want this series to end: kooky, eccentric, natural, uncanny, outlandish
His bit at 8:12 is comedy gold! "That's actually the first thing that entered my mind." Weaponized deadpan for the win!
The last effect on the pitch shifter was actually really cool
That telegraph pedal is a reverse kill switch
A REVIVE SWITCH
IT'S ALIVE!
That is the nicest strat I've ever seen
That tremolo is cool. Would love the spinner to spin automatically when spinned
Great video, as usual! Might be upper funniest ep IMO. The spinning tremolo pedal seemed to have a pretty bad, unsmooth transition from activated to deactivated and vice versa .. wonder why?
Nobody:
Sammy G:
WEIRD HAH MANY SYNONYM
The Swarm pedal sounds something hidden under layers and layers of other instruments in a song by Daft Punk
Dude you Are one of the best teachers I've seen and am definitely going to give this a shot
That dark demo from the marshmellow pedal is the sound of a real crowd pleaser. The sort of a song that a band is best known for. Awesome!
Let's stop for a moment and appreciate this beautiful strat that Sammy G has. Damn it's pretty
Least impressive was the spinning thing. The concept is cool but implemented really badly imo. Everything else was pretty inspiring, I might even buy some of these.
It would be pretty cool as a studio tool. Route your guitar DI track through it and use it that way
@@seanlanders4180 What I didn't like is that the rate wasn't followed in real time, if the signal would slow down at the same time the spinner slows down it would have been cool, but it was just an on/off thing
@@Bladavia its not an on/off it definitely scales the expression output with the speed of the spinner. I think the issue is that its an expression pedal meant to be used with other pedals so rather than it being 1 tremolo peak per spin its just faster spinning = higher expression value.
I kinda liked the regular tremolo effect but that may just be me
@@ItsRevival I liked it too but that's more on the actuall tremolo pedal than the spinner pedal
I really dig that telegraph pedal, will have to see about picking one up
4:50 A friend of mine started making guitars a few years ago, and some of his guitars incorporate a button similar to this.
Just a little "nipple" on the body to disengage the signal on command.
TheAtb85 a killswitch
You mean a killswitch?
"How about something unmusical and completely useless?"
Industrial artists: "Challenge accepted."
3rd one is just a reverse kill switch
this is rapidly turning into a gift list
I like these the most, I think, out of these videos
The telegraph and the spinner would both be really sweet as studio tools to route your DI tracks through post-recording rather than using as part of the actual pedalboard
The swarm pedal sounds like the guitar soundtrack from the original doom
Posted 16 seconds ago...i'm EARLY early
I watched all 4 ads because I like your content that much!! I was looking forward to seeing you at L&M this month.
The summary written review of the Telegraph had me rolling! lol
What is that guitar 👀👀👀
"If you've ever wanted your guitar to sound like a swarm of bees, this is the pedal for you".
*Boss Metalzone MT-2 has entered chat.
The telegraph was cool. Reminded me of something Tom Morello would use. Great as always.
THANK YOU SO MUCH I LITERALLY WANTED ONE OF THESE SO BAD
This guy deserves way more subs than he has. He’s a fricken legend
the stutter one reminds me of mad season, the way you played
Setting #1 Bee Yourself reminded me of Galaga as the ships come down and as you know they look like bees...so that seems appropriate.
I really like the Telegraph Stutter. such a neat idea.
The setting names in the corner are priceless. That last pedal has to be annoying to use as a main effect.
Man, I love that guitar. Looks and sounds absolutely amazing. Any video game cover material on the horizon? Thanks for the excellent stuff, sensei.
OOH! I would love to see you try out the Plus Pedal! Piano sustain for guitar :)
5:08 pedal review ‘text’ is genius, along with the riff before hand! #KeepRockin
I can't beelieve that first one. Amazing!
Ooh! Love that telegraph pedal.
Good shit man love your content
This was good. Love you man
Cool video!
The bee pedal was obviously for more melodic playing higher up. As apposed to lots of strummy, kinda low chords.
I mean tom morellos solo on Killing in the name of would be fun to jam around with I think.
Got my like for the morse code checklist!! Keep up the very entertaining work ;D
Ooh, is that a solid rosewood neck on that Fender? Love solid rosewood.
Always love your videos so here:

That Strat is lovely Sam.
I liked that spinny thing the most, that's a really nice guitar you're playing too :-)
The Chuck Out Your TV thing sounded so good.
This Marshmellow pedal sounds just amazing. If you have no use for it, I'd be happy to buy it from you
Nice RHCP reference at 6:20
I think I'd get the Spinner and the Marshmallow. Kind of want that bee one, too, but I think I could probably make use of the other two. Haha.
using the telegraph pedal in a dual amp set where you have a distorted amp engaged when itspressed down
I want one of those swarm pedals. So damn cool. Even the circuit boards inside are cool!
