She has Definitely been the most influential and Amazing person With the Voice of an Angel 😇 That has By just Watching and Listening to her Sing been the most strongest things that in the past 55 years been able to Help Me Survive the hardest and best times in life and lord knows there have been a few..Tho I will never personally get to Thank her for that..I Have No Doubt that The Man upstairs will let her know how much she has meant to me and So many Others ❤❤❤

What a great song! Thanks for posting! Written by Earl Montgomery. Appears on "Elite Hotel" (1975). Emmylou's live album "At the Ryman" was recorded in 1991 with Sam Bush (fiddle, mandolin), Roy Huskey Jr. (bass), Larry Atamanuik (drums), Al Perkins (banjo, guitar, resonator guitar), and John Randall Stewart (guitar, mandolin). I recognize Sam Bush here in the video, but are the rest of the band in the video the same guys as on "At the Ryman"?
Nick DeCarlo did the string arrangements on elite hotel. His cousin was my hair stylist for a while and was shocked that I knew this minutia. Nick also did string arrangements for Gordon Lightfoot. Two greats.
She was in the "folk" lane when the nation was dividing. Californian hippies were calling it "redneck music" (with negative political vibes) and Nashville types were calling it "hippie music" (with negative political vibes). In other words, no good reason. When is there ever?
Love her to pieces, and her performance here, as it always is everywhere, is flawless. However, I'm not crazy about the way she's made up here. Too flashy for one of the most humble superstars of all time. It doesn't at all reflect her true down-to-earth and shy personality. She is and always has been gorgeous, but anything but a glamour queen.
Too made up? Shy? She is soft spoken and perhaps humble but that doesnt mean she is shy. Check out some of her outfits and stylel. Definitely sexy and yet in good taste
@@smallfry3270 - Emmylou is a natural, down to earth beauty and human being. She looks better without the makeup and fancy hairstyles. Long, parted in the middle, is by far the best look for her. She's different than most of the women in the industry. And by that I mean, better.
Evernow and then someone comes along that just gets it, and shows it in full color, Emmylou is that artist..."cut and dried"... awesome awesome awesome 😊
Today's so called Country Music can't make my tears fall need I say more wooooooo 🎶🎶🎶😭 oh by the way I'm a Patty Loveless Fan for 38yrs now Love cousin Emmy also Johnny from Alabama 🎶🎶🎶

"One Of These Days"
I won't have to chop no wood
I can be bad or I can be good
I can be any way that I feel
One of these days
Might be a woman that's dressed in black
Be a hobo by the railroad track
I'll be gone like the wayward wind one of these days
One of these days it will soon be all over cut and dry
And I won't have this urge to go all bottled up inside
One of these days I'll look back and I'll say I left in time
Cause somewhere for me I know there's peace of mind
I might someday walk across this land
Carrying the Lord's book in my hand
Goin' cross the country singin' loud as I can
One of these days
But I won't have trouble on my back
cuttin' like the devil with a choppin' axe,
Got to shake it off my back, one of these days
One of these days it will soon be all over cut and dry
And I won't have this urge to go all bottled up inside
One of these days I'll look back and I'll say I left in time
Cause somewhere for me I know there's peace of mind
There's gonna be peace of mind for me, one of

Sure does look like Roy Jr. on bass there. Hard to mistake him.
Love you Emmy !!! ❣️❤😂
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏✌️❤️
Souvenirs souvenirs.
I just don't get it. How was this chick not the biggest thing ever?
Call it Traditional music instead of Country. Modern Country is not the lovely Traditional music, like this sing.
Didn't sell out. Artists in the truest sense

Odd thinking of her relationship with Gram Parsons. Doesn't seem like a matched set but I guess like the guy said, "you never can tell".
All music is very good and nice to hear but please removed the confirmation YES just contanue all music thanks

Women don't get made up? Really. Looks pretty good to these old eyes.
