Thank you so much for making this video. I have used Einkorn for years and it's the only wheat I consume because of intolerance to other wheat. I can't thank you enough for all you do towards providing people good, organic and nourishing foods. I have been going to my Azure drop every month now for 23 or more years, only missing a couple times. I can't tell you the times I have thanked the Lord for you and your company for meeting so many people's needs and for your integrity. The Lord bless you and keep you in His care.

Do you find einkorn behaves well in sourdough recipes?

    • @EchoCanyonRanch1
      @EchoCanyonRanch1 Місяць тому +3

@@WS-by5cl There is a learning curve in baking with Einkorn. It doesn't have as much gluten as the wheat sold today so it doesn't rise as high. You need to read up on changing your bread recipes if using Einkorn. But no doubt you will love the taste of this grain. It's delicious and both my husband and I prefer the taste of Einkorn wheat over the other. It has the most nutrition, it's the one God made for us. It has a lot more protein and I can eat toast along with eggs for breakfast and not get hungry till dinner. Yes, it is great for baking Sourdough Artisan bread, I do it all the time. Sourdough pancakes are the best with Einkorn. I use a lot of sourdough discard for making pizza crust, pancakes, flat bread, etc.

Excellent education! I look forward to part two. Thank you so much. I would love to hear some lessons on why so many are allergic to peanut products…. I believe it’s what they put on the peanuts either while growing or processing. I never heard of anyone having peanut allergies or gluten problems when I was growing up. Thanks again Mr. David, you are a true blessing to so many.

Such great info - thank you! As an autoimmune patient (Hashimoto's/hypothyroidism) who is constantly told not to eat gluten, I tend to believe it is not the gluten that is the issue but the sprays that are causing issues/leaky gut. Any info regarding that by chance? Also... I can't tell you how grateful we are for Azure Standard, especially given what is currently going on in the US and with our food supply. Thank you, thank you , thank you for all you do!

@kimwilliams6674 hi there..he mentioned Roundup, ie: glyphosate ,it has been shown to destroy the digestive tract and ability to absorb nutrients so not only does it make the wheat deficient in vitamins and minerals, it also has an impact on the digestive system...sorry I don't have any references to hand as I got into organic gardening because of this and digestive problems a very long time ago ...I would start with Roundup, brand name for glyphosate and Roundup ready plants that they've engineered not to die off when they use it to kill the weeds around crops they are growing, its used on many crops and gladly it has now been banned in the uk for sale to home gardeners...it stays in the soil for years....good luck on your search..I hope you find what you are looking for...you may want to look at bone broth too..red meat is best tho chicken will do...and chicken is a good natural antibiotic too, grateful for the sniffles and flue recovery..its the jelly you get when the roast goes cold😘😋..homemade and organic if possible for healing leaky gut issues too....there's plenty of info on this site for that....also carnivore if you can manage it as an option to try for healing...Michaela Peterson...was very ill with autoimmune...was a lifesaverfor her...Ted talks was where I came across her story...look up Dr Alan Mandel on here too...loads of natural remedies that he uses himself...fountain of knowledge given with blessings...chia seed is one for the stomach too from him...its a good place to start and look up those chemicals...its a deep rabbit hole but knowledge is power and I wish you well on the search for some remedies and help for yourself...
..the best from the uk 🇬🇧 to the USA 🇺🇸 kitt😊💚🙏

@@kittin9018 Hi there! Thank you for the comment. Most definitely I blame the Round Up for causing issues. I am just curious if there is any other reason he might know that causes gluten to (rightfully) get the blame, or if people just mistakenly blame the gluten rather than the glyphosate sprayed onto conventional wheat. I purchase wheat berries from Azure and grind them to make my own bread and it is so delicious I find it nearly impossible to give it up. We purchase only organic food and have for years, and we also garden organically and preserve what we can as well. It really is a shame what is being done to our food supply - I am so thankful for Azure!

I too have hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism. I too was told I had celiacs. I had the two tests done to prove it. But I just didn’t see why or how having a thyroid issue was linked to wheat. I have issues with the alternative flours, like rice.
What I am currently trying to figure out is, what is the root cause of hashimoto’s? Is it genetic? Is it environmental? We have all plant based cleaning products in our home. Is it from the foods? If so, why are some affected more than others? I know our bodies are not perfect, since the fall of man, we have had to suffer from our bodies breaking down. I am excited to try the Einkorn to see if there is a difference. I was diagnosed with celiacs nearly 25 years ago, long before it was popular to be gluten free.

@@ginaexum3345 I don’t have celiac disease but the reason thyroid patients should avoid gluten is due to something called molecular mimicry. The protein in gluten and our thyroid is so similar our body mistakes gluten for thyroid tissue and attacks our thyroid when we consume it.

NH3 (82% Nitrogen) isn't put onto wheat - it's a gas put into the soil at depth of 6-12 inches.
I'm a TX wheat producer. Be careful of disparaging the whole wheat production industry in your little promotional commercial. Not everyone uses Anhydrous Ammonia fertilizer. Some of us use compost, etc.
The increase in yield from adding soil nutrients makes wheat products affordable.
What nutrients do you add, in what form? What was your yield? What is your rotation program. What is the ratio of your production to fallow program?
Wheat is an annual grass that dies naturally when it's life purpose (to produce a seed head) has been accomplished. There is no need to kill it with glyphosate, it dies naturally. Using glyphosate to hasten harvest is an unnecessary expense, and since wheat market prices are kept low by gov't manipulation glyphosate application detracts from slim profits.
The fact is that in climates not well suited to wheat production the drying out period can be hastened and results will be more uniform using glyphosate.
Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico wheat doesn't ordinarily have glyphosate applied to hasten the dry down process.
Why not stick to the positive aspects of your own production rather than cast aspersions on your competitors? There are producers out in the big wide prairie states doing things the right way. We don't appreciate being accused of having disregard for the consumer's health as a part of your public relations efforts.

What products are in our desiccant packages?
    TRUE OR FALSE:
    ORGANIC farmers “can/could”spray glyphosate because
at this point of harvest, glyphosate is is not considered a pesticide.
