Service: Service of the Adoration of the Cross
Performers: Ensemble Organum
Album: "Chants de la Cathédrale de Benevento"
East and West united in the power of the Cross. The alternating responses in Greek and Latin are a mystical harmony.
Thank you for sharing. Shalom.
As the thousandth anniversary of the Schism approaches, let us pray for unity and peace within the One True Universal Apostolic Church
never gonna happen... both churches love their power and money tooo much, way more than they ever loved their god...
Sadly john darras but that is probably more true than we know. Its a shame because its the everyday layman who suffers and loses faith in the 1 true church because of their misdeeds.
@@alahatzaifat1872 You are making mistake.
@@artemiosruthenia7291 and what mistake is that?? Please elucidate.....

j'ai des frissons! tellement beau!
Callixtus - I hope you can find some time to continue this work of yours. It is important - we must not loose the sense of the sacred.
Traditional Catholics & Traditional Orthodox need to unite.
Come back to true traditional catholicism and become Orthodox.
marvelous
Beautiful
Awsome thanks for the upload!
really nice
Lovely thing to hear.
nice singing, well enjoyed
Help me understand the background of this this. It seems to move antiphonally from melismatic Byzantine chant to Latin (Gregorian?) chant. I've never heard of this before. Is it from a particularly period or geographic location?
If this appeals to you, take a listen to Georgian music. Obviously tapping into very ancient and moving traditions. Look up the Basiani Ensemble!
MK Ultra/DHS hates this sort of music.
Byzantine roots are very apparent
@@evangelosnikitopoulos Thank you!
I'd like to learn the lyrics. Might someone share them?
Walter Bielinski This is what I hear:
Deus, Deus meus, respice in me: quare me dereliquisti? * Longe a salute mea verba delictorum meorum.
Tu autem in sancto habitas * laus Israel.
Ad te clamaverunt et salvi facti sunt. * In te speraverunt et non sunt confusi.
Omnes videntes me deriserunt me; * locuti sunt labiis et moverunt caput.
ASTA POMPEJA
