After reading your quick description of you and your videos I was immediately drawn to the fact that you are a fan of the Mariners, Padres and Diamondbacks. I thought I was somewhat of an anomaly because I’m a White Sox lifer(originally from the Chicagoland area) a Diamondbacks fan because I’ve lived in AZ for over 30 years, a Padres fan because I lived in San Diego for a little while and a fan of the Mariners because we used to enjoy Seattle but it’s turned into an enormous hell hole. Also, just for the purpose of this video, we actually were at the White Sox/Diamondbacks game last Saturday. Not sure how that adds ANYTHING to this video but….I obviously deemed it necessary and pertinent to the discussion. If Robert goes, I’d be cool with it if he went to the Mariners or the Padres(they came together for the Cease deal). I’m done rambling. Take care.
I don't see the padres adding him unless Machado gets hurt for the rest of the season. Mariners will have to overpay. Dbacks could go after him but not sure who they could give up.
A couple other names to look at. 1. Brenton Doyle 2. Brent Rooker. 3. Tommy Pham. A right handed outfielder who can platoon with Canzone or Raley would be great. Canzone is heating up and Raley has been great. Both have higher OPS's than Rodriguez. As far as 2nd base no worries we have Bliss.
Bliss has turned things around on the road. It's fun to watch, but the rest of the team seemed to have died. We have had one game where the team is awake and that was against the marlins. Brent Rooker is a strikeout disaster. I like him. But he is bad business in seattle. Doyle I could see but good luck with the Colorado front office. They probably couldnt handle the paperwork.

I'm really hate watching us striking out all the time and hope we move towards a more contact oriented type offense like the Guardians. It's very likely that 2 or 3 of Cal, George, Logan, and Miller get paid before they reach free agency. Quit acting like they spend no money, they just don't splurge on free agents, which is another conversation. This comment you're replying to was talking about the rookie contract and how this creator that did "hours of research" has no clue what it is. Wouldn't that be one of the first things you look up? I think Cal and Logan are super two eligible as well, which means another year of control if they are on top of the 6 years a team get on a rookie contract.

I laugh at those who think Jerry Dipoto and Arturo Moreno would make a trade. Ryan Divish on the Puck Show this week said Jerry hasnt stepped foot in Angel Stadium since he left and Moreno in no way will help Jerry win anything. The proposed Vlad trade is way off. He is franchise face that will drive up the price.
That's not very accurate on vlad, he is a franchise face that they aren't going to extend when he asked for the soto level contract. He is very much expendable and a rental for the mariners.

I think cole young is an all around safer player, i think he will bring back more from a trade. With the way the mariners offense is looking, i would keep as many bats as i can lol
