it infuriates me when a game has a daft mechanic that it makes you have to loook up a guide and even then you have to force yourself to fail time and again to work it out! Ive had 'break a wall' in my quest log for weeks and still couldn't find one.
What sucks is that the tab map isn't like the delve map so I get confused and die in the darkness. Might have some great shit in the delve but not for me with the current mechanics.

It’s actually possible for a node to actually have only two connections, it’s just really rare and only happens when it’s squeezed between other paths or close to the surface.

Even with this video, I just spent almost an hour running around in the dark, then finally found a wall and blew it up. Turns out it wasn't the right one, the hidden stash was still walled off :(

Came back to this vid because I forgot how to correctly find hidden rooms. I was going crazy after checking every single one around a it seems it's one that has a different layout type which I thought couldn't be possible.
I suppose you can log out once you've destroyed the wall and come back to the point, where you will now have unlocked treasure route for cart. Just in case you had to travel far and can't go back to your cart without dying. :)
ggg culd have explained that you need to come back to the crawler, it was looking impossible, and as you lose everything you did when you die there's no way to notice that the encouter is further .... anyway thanks for the video makes things a lot easier also do you know if darkness is a flat amount of dmg, or is it % ehp damage?
I got two secret rooms right near each other with no wall destructions. I went into one and found a room full of chests with different varieties (armour, jewels, currency etc.)

Confused around the 1:50 mark...are we saying that the hidden fractured walls are connected to nodes with 1,3 or 4 connections already, or that they only connect to a node with only 2 current connections ??
Also question: Does it have to be in the same biome? I think another way of looking at it is why some nodes are not exactly on the intersections, it is placed off a little. That might be a hint. There is an extra bit of gap.

That is referring to the extra loot rooms, not these extra delve locations. Basically as your crawler moves around Chris is saying there will always be a loot room off the path when you are in an empty cell. A cell appears to be the smallish sized squares, you can see them easier by zooming out
"Room with two connection cannot be next to the loot rooms", "this room has two connections, so it has to be the one next to loot room" I am so confused Ok, after watching the whole video, it became clear that the first statement was clearly false. Loot room is always next to the room with 2 connections, simple as that

When you get used how things work, you will do it while pushing depth levels. It's fun to jump into darkens to test degen strength and layout. "Yep, i can do this one" becomes a drug. It's a shame that We as a community made such a fuss and probably fuck up a decent and exciting mechanic. When GGG will please us it might ruing longevity of a league by trivializing danger. EMP for example. It was tense in a good way. Now It's gone. Problem wasn't with the EMPs, flares worked bad and prevented a response to the event. And now it's gone, because we wished so. As I said, problem was that game didn't teach people how things work, how necessary are upgrades, flare delay, safety radius size and visibility.
Thanks for the info mate. Just a slight correction to the 1,3,4 rule. Only seems to apply to all the nodes that are off the main straight line path into the depth. I noticed that those can indeed be connected to two nodes only.

I can't do anything with Delving it seems, I have a task to do 4 walls, but I have no sulphite and Niko never spawns anywhere, I also have never ever seen a fractured wall anywhere so I guess I must be doing lots of things wrong (never done any delving before).

Why is it that the delve map doesn't correspond with our ingame map? I get so damn lost due to that and it make delving just flat out not fun.

OOOOH cuz there's a possibility that if one only has 3 visible ones, that it actually has a 4th connection?
yes and because with a hidden connection 1s become 2s and 4s become 5s which are both impossible

doesnt work for me. i have 2-way nodes next to such rooms and i cant find any breakable wall :(

Another thing to note is that the hidden area and the area connected to it should be the same type of zone.

This can be done much more faster with a movement spd builds, usually on ranger. I can say it probably the best class to go delves.
