Does it make sense to get extended family...(distant relatives of a close relative), ...started in trucking knowing...1. You don't have a trucking business yet and don't own a truck. 2. Don't know if they will want to drive in the industry long term or to even go to trucking school. 3. Don't know if they will drive for you if you start a company and buy trucks for them to drive after they have worked at a mega company for 2 years.

I’m not experienced with business credit, but there’s no downside to forming your business early. Depending on the bank you use, there may be a monthly fee.

It will knockout a lot of new o/o it's going from 750k to 2 million in coverage, that'll double the cost of the already insane price...imagine paying more for insurance than you do for your truck
@@hunter.on.channel.19 nah bruh I’m in my third year as owner Oprator all my insurance is $1160 a month yeah it will increase for the 750k folk but not me...remember I already have that two million coverage..also cheaper insurance depends on your credit. Driving record.. how old is your equipment..ETC..

@@jorgeaguilera5343 Register your business and park your equipment in another state. Insurance companys have a thousand different variables to consider when quoting a rate. For whatever reason, Florida, New York and California trucking business usually don't get a good rate.

I have the same question.
Right now, trucks are very high due to demand of alot of people are getting into the business. Used trucks are much more expensive then they should be and new trucks should not be an option if your new to the business. Look on truck paper.com or selec trucks. Should be looking for 500000 miles on used trucks, the higher the more likely it will not last long. I just bought a day cab with 450,000 for 15000, but I have had to put money into it before I even start running( tires, front brakes, air dryer, new batteries, oil change, dot inspection). Buy its paid for.
