2.5D refers taking 2 dimensional characters from anime and manga and adapting them for live action shows or stage plays. 3d people meeting 2d characters.Thus when a live action adaptation takes place, it's referred to as 2.5D The 2d characters get just a little closer to reality.
Loved the documentary style thing they were going for with this episode because adding that whole starting part and the kana acting scean they had to move some stuff to next episode to end it at the dramatic point it did and followed what it preached useing the medium of anime to the fullest. What I like to jokeing call the cat fight arc will continue to deliver.

Glad to have you guys back!!! This season will be full of emotions, for both manga readers and anime onlys, since the " team Akane vs team Kana" is gonna be a lot more evident now. No offense to anyone, but in the same day this ep came out i already saw people arguing in the comments. I myself had one with Kana fans 😂 but hey....in the end it's good for the algoritm, right? LoL I think depending on which girl you like the most, it will make you appreciate them even more. I'm an Akane stander for life. She's not only my best girl but also my best character in this entire series. But i like Kana too. And i'm not talking about shipping here. Honestly? In this series i don't care about shipping at all. I'm talking about them as characters. But when you analyze objectively, both of them shine in this arc. Hope you guys like it👍🏻
@@pbgamer25 they're all well-written, interesting characters with intriguing personalities, and very cute designs. How could one even choose? I just flip flop all the time, mostly between Kana and Akane, because they fit the two types of women I always gravitate to IRL
@@Ryuu44 Kana has the tsundere side, which for me is always great 😂 i know some people are tired of the tsundere trope, but it'll never get old for me. But Akane has the fragile, calm and collected behavior, which makes more my type....but the real reason i chose her as my favorite character is her intelligence. She is SO SMART. I joke sometimes (sorry if this offend some, just a jk) that i can picture a girl their age doing things Kana do (being a great actress, a great singer and a great idol), but I CANNOT picture a girl their age doing what Akane does AT ALL (her analytical side is something out of this world). Real talk tho: Akane should quit being an actress (even tho she's good at it) and become a detective instead.
Shibuya is just a huge, popular district in Tokyo. That's like having two American movies taking place in NY name-dropping Manhattan. :)
Of course, just with the play being based off an action manga with supernatural stuff, it made me think of JJK. Thanks!
