This series is literally an acid trip. A completely insane 4th wall breaking comedy of total absurdity. Not necessarily a bad thing. But definitely a niche type of comedy.

Other examples are _Azumanga Daioh,_ _Pani Poni Dash,_ and _High School Inari Tamamo-chan,_ all of which I reccommend if you find yourself hooked on this show.
Haven't read the manga but from what i know it isn't a yuri manga..... However i wouldn't be surprised if the end of the manga is the two of them dating
The closest show that similar to this is Nichijou. It's just pure random non-sense and references. Where you can turn you brain off instead of trying to think about it (which probably would hurt your brain more lmao)

She wasn't prepared for this at all. We enjoy some nonsensical shows from the West like Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, Sealab 2021, and The Amazing World of Gumball, bit this is very far out there 😂
