The last time there was a strike, t.v. Really sucked. The writer is really important to a quality program. They deserve to be treated right. The term garbage in garbage out also applies to plays, T.V. and movies. If the studios are going to profit from the labors of good writers they should pay the writers what they are worth.
Have you been watching TV and movies lately? The quality has been terrible... Look up clips of The Big Bang Theory without the laugh track. It's shocking that people get paid to write stuff like that.
