I must have a tight hand with crocheting. I had to get a 15mm hook to get the gauge and I’m going to need 8 skeins of yarn just for the back. I’m going to push through no matter what adjustments I have to make. I did make it quite a bit longer because I wanted it below the knee and my granddaughter is 5’10” tall.
I figured out why I need so many more skeins...the bulky yarn I bought has only 64 yards and the bulky yarn you used has 134 yards...mystery solved.

Love this pattern and I’ve started making it, however, I’m not using chunky yarn so my rows are more than what the pattern says so my question is how wide should the front panels be for a medium? I’m trying to estimate but I’m not sure. Thanks

im working on the "poncho" now, im using a different # (3) yarn tho, Im using MANDALA yarn, with a smaller hook. I couldn't find any like she uses. Im going to work on this one when im done with her "poncho"
