He plays the same character in every movie he did. Basically, he is Robert DeNiro in every role he played. He makes the same facial expressions and has the same voice. To me he has always been over- rated as an actor who just got really lucky. Don't get me wrong, I love all the movies he did in the 70's, 80's and early 90's. But he is type casted on the same roles over and over again.
