York has a history of chocolate/sweet making, Rowntrees (that invented the Kit Kat and Fruit Pastilles etc) and Terry's(that do the chocolate orange)is from there. Theres a store there called York's Chocolate Story, and they do tours showing the techniques and the history of chocolate making. Worth a visit.
Hey Mac. Thanks for the great video on my home city. Fun fact is my nan as a small child lived above number a shop in the shambles (I believe in the 1930's!). They were apartments for the less well off at the time...now the limited apartments available on that street go for big money!
Great to see you all drawn back to York, such a wonderful place any time of year, in the new year there is usually a reenactment day where they celebrate the viking history and have mock battles by Clifford's tower and sometimes burn a full size replica viking longboat on the river, I'm sure that you would enjoy it and get some good footage too, merry Christmas to you all ❤
You guys should Come the Corner pin when your in York next time I t’s near the it’s the station and we have the best locals going going in York Irish Scottish young and old were all sound as a pound in there
Beautiful, festive vlog. Wish I'd managed to get to a Christmas market this year. Still. thanks to you, I was able to live it vicariously ;) Your children are really beautiful - especially your eldest daughter. I see you and the Mrs are swapping hairstyles! Blair looks great with short hair! Happy Christmas
Ha ha 15 minutes to decide in the German Christmas shop - was never going to end well 🤣 I live in York, but just find it way too crowded now so i’m afraid its wasted on me. Hope you and your lovely family have a very Happy Christmas 🥰 ps lots to do throughout the year in York - there will be an Ice festival, then the viking festival and the roman festival and of course the cat trail is there all year 🥰 shame you cant walk the walls - well not until Macenzie and Malachai are walking !
Obviously, you love the Christmas market weather in York, Birmingham, Manchester, or any other part of the country. However, how did they compare to what they have in America if they do? I was just watching a video about American cheese and British/European cheese. America doesn’t have half a varieties that we do, and would it be the same with all the other things on these stalls? Like the chocolates, handmade stuff, the bespoke stuff et cetera
I think Mac gets more excited about all the knick knacks than the kids do 😊
I will admit it... I do get more excited. LoL
Love Blairs new hair cut it looks wonderful 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥
Loved the market, loved the purple gloves your daughter got but must say 85 pounds for that glass bauble, that was expensive,
Love the shambles so much history.
Very happy that your beautiful family enjoyed the York Christmas market. It really is very special and magical.
I love York! It would be awesome to visit there one day. It might even be better than London.
It’s much nicer than London. You get a feeling for what England is really like. London is too cosmopolitan - and very expensive! 🇬🇧🇬🇧👍
York is my favourite place and the capitol of my county Yorkshire! Glad you had a great time with your lovely family.
York has to be one of the most Christmassy places in the world!! Merry Christmas all!! 🎅🤶
love a Christmas market, great vid Mac, looks like the family enjoyed it
Happy holidays!
Your videos make me miss Europe.
That was a beautiful Christmas market in York , Matthew is a hoot to watch Happy Holidays Family!
Have great Christmas Mac and family. Still one of the best, most wholesome (not in a cheesy way) channels on the tubes. ⛄️🎄⛄️🎄
Happy holidays!
Love York, have walked those streets many times over the years - back there in February 🙂
Beautifully crafted video. Love York xx
That Christmas store is lovely. Love wooden ornaments, especially if they are handmade
The best time to visit York is Christmas and the best market only Birmingham is as good.
wishing all the family a wonderful Christmas and great 2024 x

Great video! York Christmas Market ambiance was the most ‘Christmassy’ I think I’ve ever seen. At least through the lens of your camera.

Great video, thank you Mac and Blair. Mathew is so funny lol. Sending hugs to you all 🤗🤗🤗
You need to return in the late summer and visit York’s food market. The coconut macaroons were addictive.

Your wife is a lot more confident speaking on camera now
Hey Big Mac Junior! Are your two little new ones pure English? Also have your other kids picked up any English accents or phrases ❤❤❤
Yes and yes
Your younger lad has an English accent.
He does.
