£5 for 3 festive rolls you said that’s a good deal … they was actually £5 each or 3 for £12 😂 not such a good deal bet they was nice tho…. Am going to make my way here in a week I think
Great video. But oh dear, another hideous UK Christmas Market, full of over-priced unbranded factory-produced processed foods (3 small pies for £20!) and China-made tat (fake watches etc). I visited Bournemouth’s Xmas market last year - the authentic “German” sausage stall was selling multi-pack frankfurters from Lidl just up the road on industrial-standard bread rolls - £6.50 each.
It depends how you define 'best'. York as a destination is so much nicer than Manchester and has a Dickensian Christmas feel that Manchester doesn't plus, ask any stall holder which market makes them the most money and is nicer to work at and they will tell you York every time.
You really need to do little homework before you do a travelogue video. Believe it or not The York cocoa Works is not Kakow as you pronounced it, it's cocoa that hot chocolate is made from!! Look for Rowntrees Cocoa next time an adult takes you shopping. Mead is one of the oldest alcohol drinks made with honey etc. There is a part of York worth visiting called Yorvic showing the history of the Vikings in York. The shops is the Shambles are permanent shops, not stalls, so that's probably why you might have seen that pie shop before, if you have been to York previously. Otherwise the video is mildly interesting for people who would like to see what the Christmas market has to offer. So if you do another video, try Wikipedia for 10 minutes before you set off. It will make you look so much better. Sorry, I meant cool!
How can a person do research in regards to a Christmas market before he even goes there?? What is he meant to look up in Wikipedia when he doesn’t know what will be in the market??
Do you think this is one of the best in the UK?
Comment below 😀
Ohh you have made me want to visit the Christmas market! Fantastic video!
You definitely should lol 😀
I wonder what the York market would look like, though, in the evening. Lights really help make a beautiful ambience of a Christmas market. Nice blog.
I think it would like really nice when its dark and you can really see all the lights!
Love York, its my favourite city in the UK, I always recommend it over London if anyone is visiting Britain.
I’m certainly going to visit York Christmas market after seeing this!!
It was a great time you will not be disappointed 😬
very well presented video
Thanks 😀 York was a beautiful place
3 pies for £20! Glad I grew up in the 70's. Mead is an ancient alcoholic drink made with honey etc 👍👍
Sounds nice!
Where abouts is the tree in the first clip saying merry Christmas love York ?
It is in St Sampson's Square
Where's the handmade real flower jewellery stall? I think we're the only one you missed out 😂☹️🌺
Sorry 😞
