Great to see how you put this demo together! I'm eager to use RS Toon for my next project but worry about its capabilities since it still lacks some features that other renderers have. In terms of compositing, do you know if there is a way to render the contour in AOV, like how we can do in Arnold or Sketch n Toon?
SO MUCH new stuff has been added over the years. It's ok if you missed some of it. If you ever want to see everything that's new in Plus, you can always go here! greyscalegorilla.com/category/whats-new-in-plus/
Just a question - when i add the tone map it covers the entire object. Yours seems dictated by the light and shadow. What step am I missing to get the tonemap to only effect the shadows?
In Redshift Toon Materials, when I apply the alpha image to the plane polygon, the line is not represented by the alpha map, but it comes out according to the plane. How can I make the line appear according to the alpha map?
Like the tutorial, but in the old toon system you could control which lines it would draw with a great deal of parameters, not just a angle. The angle thing works great for mechanical stuff but not so much for organic forms. So my question would be is there anything that gives more control over which lines to draw and which not...lets say like overlap etc.
We have a setting in the Greyscalegorilla Library that let's you choose what type of material you want to open. Set "Material Type" to "NODE". Hope that helps.
That is Social Frame. It's a Plugin to help you crop and set up different aspect ratios in C4D. It's included in our Plus Membership. You can learn more about it here. ua-cam.com/video/CL0KevOQcTY/v-deo.html

Love it. Embarrassing to admit, but I honestly didn't even realize I had watercolor materials in the plus library. Gracias por todo!

I am trying for follow this amazing tut in Houdini however I can't find the Base Tonemap node, is there an alterantive node I need to use?

Yah that kind of control would be amazing. Hopefully they’ll add it someday
