I'm a textbook person too that's why this works so well for my family and I! I love that they include living books to it as well. Notgrass has everything that I could want all in one history program. Love it!
This is one of the BEST, and most informative videos I've found on this curriculum! Thank you! I'm looking forward to ordering this program for next year☺
This video is so perfect! Thank you for this walk through! I have decided...I'm ordering this for the coming year! I have been on the fence for a while...but now, I'm sold! Thank you, thank you!!!💗😊
I keep coming back to Notgrass... Haven't used it yet, but it looks so simple! I'm intrigued by Uncle Sam and You. Have you used it (just asking since it's 2 years later...)
Hi! We sure have. You can see my review here: www.findingjoyinthejourney.net/homeschool-civics/ We have now been through all of their middle school guides, and this year we are using their elementary AND high school as well.
We are doing Notgrass this coming year. I chuckled at the beginning of your review because I did the same thing. I was suggested last year to do Notgrass, I brushed it off. When two people mentioned it again this, I though maybe I need to consider it. I didn't even hesitate I purchase it. I'm looking forward to it. I do have two questions for you. I have 5th grader who is doing Notgrass, I have a 2nd grader, in your opinion could she doing it along with us? Also, I was hoping to display a timeline on my wall this year, do you think that would possible with Notgrass. I already purchased all the Textbooks, and workbooks. Thank you!
Isn't it crazy? Sometimes we need to listen to our kids! I think your second grader could tag along for what she wants to do. But, I wouldn't make her at that age. It is beautifully written for the middle school grades. But, projects and some of the reading could be done if she wants to join in. As far as the time line goes, of course, you could put one on your wall! Kids love that stuff :) BTW-sorry for the late reply I didn't get your notification.
@@rachelharris3947 their high school program is solid. It is a LOT of work. If you have a kid who does not like to read, you may need to cut back some of the work, or be willing to read to them/find some sort of audio option. We have not used the geography program, but I would trust anything the Notgrass family puts out (no, I am not currently being paid by them or in contract with them in any way) It has been over a year since I have worked with them. We just truly love the Notgrass company.
This was great. Thanks for sharing.

@@MistyBJoyinthejourney how is the high school history coming along?
Does it include ancient civilization from Mexico, central, and South America?
It’s nice to see what you look like!

Hi, I really enjoyed your video. This would be my first time doing notgrass and I have a 5th grader. Which notgrass program should I start with?
April Eason Notgrass is written so you can start with whichever program interests your child most!
Are you using high school?
Yes, we have used World History and American History. We will not be using High School Government (my daughters will be taking that dual credit).
@@MistyBJoyinthejourney how do you like the high school? I’m thinking of using exploring geography for my 9th grader.
