You can dodge the arm swipe by running straight toward him I believe, done it several times while hfb'ing his ass. Useful for you are backed into a corner
I struggle to dodge that grab so I may need to try just running at him. On my failed daimon attempts for any vocation most of them are because of the grab attack. Lol
@@LocalTicoBroje oh lol, I was talking about phase 2 dragon arm attacks. I noticed your strategy of running back then forward, and spoke about getting backed into a corner - in which case charging directly towards him also works. As for the grab attack, due to the short telegraph it's better if you just guess when he does it, when you're close to him but outside melee range keep strafing to your right. I could be wrong but he keeps tracking if you strafe to your left. Doing this was basically necessary on my warrior solo run due to poor magick defence. E: Also the hitbox is much more lenient, he will be unable to grab you when you're on his left side.
@@uggachugga760 ah. Yes. I did know I can run forward, but habits have ingrained that I back up. I should definitely be more flexible about that though. I did know that for the grab attack though. That's basically what I do now. It has some success for sure, but it still gets me occasionally.
Sorry! I've had to take a few days off for a vacation and taking care of life off stream. Mystic Knight is one of my absolute favourite ways to play the game. The No-Hit run doesn't do it justice as it can be so much more fun when you aren't trying to avoid 100% of everything. Definitely worth playing with!
@@LocalTicoBroje i usually just stick with magick archer or assassin but i kinda want to try mystic knight or warrior. i hope life is treating you well though
@@Yatagarasu2001 mystic Knight is definitely easier to find fun than warrior, but warrior is definitely a lot of fun when you can bop and knock things down. I think Arc of Obliteration is the single most satisfying ability in the game. So fun to land lol! But life is good, just busy!
@@Yatagarasu2001 well, once you do one you learn what the strategy for the room overall is and then it's about how do we apply the skills of the vocation to the room. Once you have your strategy for each room it is just putting in the practice to make them consistent. It usually takes us about a week of attempts to become successful.
Holy crap how do you have all of those weapons and you’re not over encumbered? I carry just a rusted sword as my spare and I’m always in upper average and I hit heavy and super heavy so quick.
No curatives or tools helps, but the sinew augment does a lot of heavy lifting here. When you improve the quality of equipment it lowers the weight of it slightly as well and everything is gold forged. Finally the size/weight of your character will impact both your max character capacity and what weight breakpoints transition it from the different weight brackets. So when I'm know I'm making a character that's going to hold a bunch of stuff, I usually make them a little bit more built.
Easier and earlier to obtain. Also lighter, I'm carrying a bunch. Lol But yeah. It's easy to get over mage breaker. Mage breaker is definitely better though. Almace you can get from a gather spot in either the midnight helix or tower of treasons repaid (don't remember at the moment which) but it's quick and easy and I usually can get it upgraded before I even find mage breaker. So it fits easier.

also safe word😶
why is it that you use the almace opposed to the magebreaker? Easier to upgrade?
