@@Yatagarasu2001 hi yatagarasu! Yeah. I haven't been streaming/making videos. I moved and got a new job which I'm really enjoying, but also keeps me very busy. If they release a dlc I promise to play through it on stream and put it on UA-cam. But I probably won't be making a lot of videos unless it is something like BBI I love that dungeon so much.

Frl I was able to find Damion and figured out where the hydra at the start of the game ran off too

I usually do, but with solo warrior it just takes an extremely long time. I think we fought one in the midnight helix before in part 1 and the fight is the same. I just have to do it twice and the run already is so long I broke it into 3 parts. So I skipped them. They aren't bad, they're just slow. You basically just stay behind their ankle and do what you can (unless you're better at climbing than I am).

No. Lol. It's just me. What probably happened is I recorded the narration for one video earlier in the day and the other later (likely on two different days) but my voice is usually deeper when I first wake up.

Lol yeah. I do the audio recordings in just one long cut (unless something happens). So any small errors like that happen because I missed it while it was on the screen while I'm watching the playback and I was thinking about what to say rather than just observing. Lol that's largely why I always make sure to include it on screen though. So if I miss it, you can still see it. I guess that's what happens when you don't write a script and just wing it everytime!

For the record, I find you videos informative and fun to watch and I am currently in the process of going through all your solo runs as a way to understand each class better. @@pallavrajpatra7227 theoretically, it should. I haven't really tested it because on the fights I usually want to use lunge, I want the consistency that using bitter end provides. But I usually don't have my pawns for that. So the consistency has more value then. I'd say it's worth a try! If you knock something over and lunge at it it would probably be pretty good!

Oooh. That's a tough question. They all feel really good so far. Maybe thief or surprisingly warrior. Warrior feels so good this time around.

​@@LocalTicoBrojeinteresting. I look forward to trying it at some point. I have a decent backlog,going back to the Colecovision actually,so it will be awhile. But it should be fun. Aside from Earth Defense Force 6 it's one of the only games I care about this year.

Easier and earlier to obtain. Also lighter, I'm carrying a bunch. Lol But yeah. It's easy to get over mage breaker. Mage breaker is definitely better though. Almace you can get from a gather spot in either the midnight helix or tower of treasons repaid (don't remember at the moment which) but it's quick and easy and I usually can get it upgraded before I even find mage breaker. So it fits easier.

Thanks! I'm glad it helped you. A lot of succeeding in this game boils down to knowing what might happen next and knowing what is effective in that situation. I couldn't tell you how many hours I've put into this game using the wrong element or damage type on enemies and thinking that they are just too strong for me when I really just needed a different tactic.

@@LocalTicoBroje I was missing the one in tower of treason, I saw it from the poison river but I had to idea how to get there, I spent like 10 minutes double jumping looking for a place to vault to get in that bridge, I had no idea I had to go back😂

Capcom decided to stick denuvo DRM on the game and one of the only people in the world cracking denuvo has ghosted so it'll be at least a year minimum before I get to play. I don't have an internet connection, so I can't just download this off steam. It either has to have the DRM removed and it goes to websites like GOG where I can purchase it and download offline installers on my phone and install games on my PC that way or get cracked and pirated.

Yeah! I think the change is good though. I think it keeps DD1s speed while requiring a bit more precision akin to Monster Hunter if we are going to stick with Capcom. Closer still to the DD side of things though. I think it's a good change.

Thanks! I appreciate it! I've been playing DD2 today/yesterday. It's been brilliant so far! I've been streaming it on Twitch too, but I can only really stream during the weekends. I'm too busy during the week. As for plans for videos afterwards, it'll be dependent on whether there is a place like BBI in this game. I really love progressing through that dungeon. If they have something similar, I'd likely go for No-Hit runs again. But we will have to see.

hail brother yeah just noticed that you uploaded a part1 or full game video on DD2(well prob not full game) I ll try to watch at least an hour of it since right now just looking for the type of DD2 NO PAWNS/HARD kind of more challenging playthroughs take your time with it man try go in depth and be Thorough no matter if it gets low reception or whatever i hope you ll go all full solo? but i ll be ok if you have your main Pawn at your side blessings man and hope you ll grow to love the game despite whatever flaws it may have the combat looks sick/slick and fun as i love it

@@GothicXlightning haha thanks. I'm a pretty slow player when a new game comes out because I like to investigate everything. So despite putting up like 7 hours of video, we didn't get very far into the actual story. It'll take me weeks to finish if I only play on the weekend. But once I finish, I'm sure I'll start doing challenges again. Especially if there is a dungeon like BBI. I'll have to see what endgame has for us. But I've been loving it so far!

take your time with it brother do never rushed i have also done long indepth SOLO/HARD type of playthrough vids series for original masterpiece so i know how it feels i think we both are similar am also into the whole Solo, Hard and depending on the game (No-Hit runner) i think i did upload the first SOLO/HARD MODE staying as FIGHTER playthough on YT was also Roleplaying the Skull Knight of BERSERK well more like making my Arisen after the same concept etc so yeah i get hardcore when it comes the passion for good games such this looking forward to see your Challenge runs i still need to see your full Assassin BBI video and then i will like to see your FIGHTER one as well i am all about ASSASSIN/FIGHTER/MYSTIC'KNIGHT for this games ;D glad that you are liking it man keep having epic fun with it and again respects and appreciation for your time and for the good uploads

@@GothicXlightning fighter and warrior are both no hits for BBI that I never did. The only two. I don't have the reaction time to make them happen, I don't think. Lol not without using items at least. So my hat is off to you for doing one! But yeah. The first game really made figuring out how to do it solo/hard a rewarding feeling. I hope they capture that well this time.

So. For focus bolt you basically just hold down the light attack button. When you do that the staff will start to gather power and glow. After like a second and a half you can let go and it will shoot out the focused bolt. If your staff is buffed with an element spell. It will take on an additional effect from it. Lightening will bounce, holy will home in, etc.

Im sorry I didn't see this message before. I was out of the country when it came though and didn't have a notification for it when I came back. I apologize. To answer your question, sorcerer would definitely be a lot more magic damage, but I leveled mystic knight because I always like to play as the character I'm intending to end with as much as possible to keep things simple. Additionally a lot of people like to minmax and often suggest it to newer players, but ultimately it isn't necessary to do well in the game (usually). I like to demonstrate it by simply levelling straight through as the character I wish to play. In this case, that is mystic knight, which is probably the class which benefits the most from min-maxing.

​@@LocalTicoBroje fair. But yeah like levels 1-50 strider and 51-200 as sorcerer would be best imo. Good stamina and a fuck you amount of damage. But yeah that's the main problem with the game. To get max damage you need to max out an entire different class before you even touch it. Assassin for physical damage sorcerer for magic. Sad only 4 classes matter. Assassin sorcerer fighter strider. Physical damage magic damage health stamina.

Hiya! Glad you're picking it up. It's wicked fun. So that ability is called magic cannon. What it does is summon that orb and when you hit it, it shoots those magic projectiles that home in on targets. Magick archer doesn't get this ability, mystic knight does; however, the Gazer Boss Fight will spawn one when you kill those four tentacles I shoot right before. That's how I'm doing it here. It's just a mechanic if that particular boss fight. As for magic archer tips, what I would recommend is experimenting with element types to figure out what things are weak to. Magick archer gets access to all elemental damage and can employ them all well. Also, the shadowsnare ability and it's upgrade are really good for most of the game as it will lock down any enemy that isnt the size of an ogre or larger. It can keep you safe and make enemies vulnerable.

​@@LocalTicoBrojeinteresting. Thanks for the reply. Mystic Knight ok. Right now I'm using the Terminal Gyre for my bow with the Trophy Armor set. Have the Sapfire daggers as seconds. Using the standard Magic Rebalancing ECT but using instant reset instead of immolation. Otherwise Six bolt into 9 with ring and ricochet of course but I find Magical Gleam to be useful in certain situations. Otherwise for skills I'm using Attunement,Acuity, Emphasis,Sinew,Impact and endurance. I'll have to get Magic Cannon. Still working towards the Blackwing Bow ECT. And yes it is a great game. Probably the best 7 or 8 out of ten game I've played for some time. I've been gaming since the second generation,Atari 2600 ECT,and have started to get sick of the whole modern triple AAAAAAAAAA bloated game mentality. Especially with DEI,ESG garbage from places like Sweet Baby Inc getting into games. This game is like a breath of fresh air. I've known about it since it came out but am now finally playing it on the Xbox Series X. Looks good for something like 12 years old. It feels like the old Capcom Dungeons and Dragons arcade games which makes sense since some of the same people worked on both games. Almost like a 3D Dragons Crown which is also an amazing game. Your videos have been a big help ,along with others ,and you definitely showed me a few things to try out. When you shred Death in the hallway I laughed. Great stuff. It reminds me of Final Fantasy 8 actually in the way you can break the game if you want or just play it with any kind of challenge you want. Dragons Dogma 2 is looking great and one of the only games I'm looking forward to this year.

​@@LocalTicoBrojeAnd just for fun you might be amused to know that I actually went into the Isle when I was level 4. Stocked up on healing stuff and Throwblasts. Ran from everything. Lol. Until I got to the first chest with the mimic in it. My pawn opened it up and I actually killed it with Throwblasts. That put me up to level 10 right there. Then I ran around and got the void key. Got down to the Gazer and managed to get under it. Used Throwblasts to kill the stalks untill it sent up a big one that actually hit itself. When it was stunned I threw Throwblasts at the eye. Each one took almost a full bar off. A few times of that,and healing like crazy,and I liked it. That put me up to almost level 20. Lol. Then with the gate unlocked I could fool around some more. Stuff gets pretty insane but I'm level 50 now and slowly getting further. Haven't even touched the main game yet. Lol. The fact that they let you fool around with stuff like that and experiment is great. It reminds me of smaller indi games like Starsector which whipes the floor with bigger games like Starfield and Bethesdas other garbage. It's funny how Capcom had no faith in this game and just threw it out there and over time it kept selling and selling until it got a sequel. People still make videos about it. I just watched Lorerunner play it in October and was fascinated. Hope to see you playing Dragons Dogma 2.

@@kellinwinslow1988 yeah. It sounds like you have a good setup. I think terminal gyre and sapfires is fine until you get something else. I think I may have said something in a confusing way. The mystic knight gets the cannon, but you can only use it as a mystic knight. If you switch classes you can't use it unless you switch back. So if you were hoping to use it as a magick archer, you won't be able to. The only reason I can use it in that one fight is because the boss summons it.

@@kellinwinslow1988 oh yeah. I love that you can get to BBI. I've done a few runs where I go to BBI as early as possible and stay there until I beat it all. It's a fun challenge although some rooms are extremely frustrating. Lol

I usually make sure to have these in the description, but this was 10 levels of strider and then 190 levels of ranger. I usually keep them simple.

So when the arm attacks come out I just run straight backwards. They have a pretty large hit box, but they don't track very well. So I just immediately stop what I'm doing and run backwards. The trick is to run back forwards after the arms though, otherwise you'll end up against a wall and you can't do anything if he does the arms again.

You're welcome! Yes it is, but it is much harder. You have to get the strigoi/ghosts configuration and then knock a strigoi down and carry him closer to the tower and then fly on him from there. It is very frustrating because the strigoi has to get high enough before getting close to the tower otherwise he will reset and you have to go grab him again. Easiest way to knock him down to carry him is to let him charge you and throw something at him though.

This was my first one on any vacation. If definitely say magick archer is the easiest place to start for no hit runs.

So emphasis is designed for magical spells and impact for physical attacks so typically as a sorcerer you want emphasis. This is a little weird though because impact actually works for ingle and I think a couple other things, but the important piece is that emphasis works for maelstrom and a few other big moves which are usually more important that their knockdown works when used than ingle because of the cost of using them. If a maelstrom doesn't knock an eliminator up your upset because it took ten seconds to cast. If ingle doesn't knock something back or down it isn't a huge loss since it took like 2. Just cast it again. The buff is only 30%.

I don't do it because it is annoying. Lol that's the only reason. You are right though. It would get a little bit more damage, but yeah. The sound effect and the red on the screen is too annoying for me. As for the rules, I don't know that there is a rule for that in no hit runs, but I didn't do these runs to adhere to anyone else's rules, I did them for me. That's why I kill everything. In most games, a no hit run allows you to run past enemies, but again. I do it the way I want.

So free aiming spells and casting on yourself for the buffs are the same button. I want to say it is right thumb stick, but if not it is the left one (muscle memory is weird). As for your pawn. If you want to absolutely train the pawn the best you need to play the same vocation. HOWEVER that is also not necessary. The pawns will learn well enough if you or another pawn show them the weaknesses of their enemies without being the same class. Personally, when I play sorcerer I have my pawn as a strider and when I play a physical vocation I make my pawn a sorcerer. Very rarely do I actually play as the same vocation. As for fourth pawn being sorcerer or mage. The value of spell syncing is huge, whereas mage gets you access to healing, cleansing, and buffing. Typically, I find anodyne difficult to use as the pawns will often struggle to cast it in a location that remains helpful for longer than 1 seconds. I'd almost always say sorcerer is the better choice, but realistically, do whatever you find to be most fun. As a sorcerer, spell syncing is pretty awesome though, so usually that happens to not the the stronger choice and most fun for me.

@@LocalTicoBroje Thanks for your answer. Learned a lot (especially that you can free aim). I'll keep my pawn as a strider & employ a sorcerer rift pawn instead of a mage rift pawn (I've also noticed their buffing is somewhat weird).

I hope they have something similar because I'm with you. I absolutely love it! I've been avoiding all DD2 news though because I want to be surprised by everything. So I'm hoping to be blown away!
