Love your videos, I only started playing DD 3weeks ago and I’m hooked currently enjoying the game as my 1st play through. Gutted when you find out when quests have closed due to advancement but I’ll get them next play through. Just trying to work on the mechanics of developing my kick ass Strider. I’ve done Fighter, Warrior, Strider for augmenting. Currently on Assassin but strength and stamina building help online can be confusing.
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like them along with the game itself. It's an absolute gem! You are correct though, the information the game provides as well as online are both frequently confusing. Playing a little as each vocation and getting augments is really the best way to go about starting out though, so it sounds like you are on the right track!
I could be wrong but i think strider negatively benefits from thousand kisses, the 66% damage boots becomes nulled while climbing when using thousand kisses, I prefer having cloudburst volley ring and soaring stone to damage larger enemies as I initially climb them
I actually like the bow better than daggers, but I'm definitely in the minority. I think largely it's because daggers are much easier to train pawns to use well; however, I find that if you remove dagger abilities abilities and just provide fracture dart and downpour pawns tend to do a decent job. They can put out some serious damage. Especially fracture dart. Again, it is harder to train pawns with though. They will try and use daggers most of the time.
