You should definitely do audiobooks!! Your reading voice is perfect! Please don't take this the wrong way but the amount of high pitched or really nasal American voices really put me off buy the audiobook as it really either hurts my ears because of the pitch or annoy the hell out of me as they are talking through their nose lol. Xx

I've actually had this recorded for months haha. I decided to give up on trying to find footage for it, given that the interview format is working elsewhere on the channel. Hopefully audio based review stuff every now and then won't be an issue!

Thank you! I doubt I've have anything this long again (there's a walking dead script 20 pages long I could potentially clean up, but going into a writing haze and waking up with something of this length isn't common for me). I am hoping to do an Alien analysis soon though!

I lvoe your analysis and the book's premise, honestly; to drive a point sometimes we need a simile, or analogy for it. The only thing I'd add is that the ideology wasn't given power: it already had power because it is formed by the most powerful members of its society (high socioeconimic status, white men) as a way to fight changes to that society (women rights' advancements are beocming a threat to the patriarchy, and so the higher echelons create such movements to erode those rights or circumvent them. It's always the pwoerful that make or destroy these things according to their whims. the world is theirs after all; the only thing others can do is stay out of the crossfire and wait until the power structures shake and crumble under a new one.
