Thanks to Avatar, I now know what I will do in the event of an Apocalypse.))) Step one: Wipe your ass Step two: Put your warpaint Step three: Throw the spear Step four: Name your price and kneel Step six (six six): HAIL THE APOCALYPSE!!! And, of course, they gave us THE MOST METAL LINE EVER WRITTEN!))) Seriously, you need thinking about getting a tattoo with it. Johannes took many of his stage moves from silent films and is a fan of them. Have you noticed any small references to the biblical Apocalypse?)) Colorful figurines of horses on the table (Plague, War, Famine and Death) and trumpets (angelic, seven), appearing from the barrel organ. Director Johan Carlen (sixth of Avatar) did a great job.) The three figures from the coffin are the bass player.) The video was supposed to be a sequel to the Smеlls like а Freakshow with the same characters. The song is written by Tim, and he has the same tattoo on his leg.))) Vinnie Paul also told Tim that Dimebag would like the main riff.)))) Clip scened in the middle of February 2014. To optimize the budget shot in a large garage without heat. (From Johan Carlen's Facebook) Check out Sky Burial, Dance Devil Dance, please. And other, of course.
Good song ! Thanks dudes ! You should check "Eagle has landed", "Let it Burn", "Black Waltz", "The Statue of the king". And of course live you have this "Regret/House of Eternal Hunt" which is great : ua-cam.com/video/e8IdzNnwsaA/v-deo.html Have fun !!
@@joshbrewer4309 There is no public in the live i put you up. It was a live during lockdown (a serie of 4 live if i remember). And it was great. But if you want a live with an audience, you can check this. One of my favorite song from them : Torn Apart : ua-cam.com/video/JW97ZdFK-ZI/v-deo.html
For a live video I STRONGLY suggest "Glory to Our King/Legend of the King/Let it Burn live at Club LA, Destin Florida. It is an amateur video but a really good quality one and is a great 15 minute snapshot of what they are like live. Available on UA-cam. If you want some funky bass check out "Pray the Sun Away" from the Feathers and Flesh concept album. No real video just artwork video but a great song!
ua-cam.com/video/zwTrw24NYnE/v-deo.html Here's the whole show which is great by the way. They do hail the apocalypse first and it's my favorite version of it live. Really glad to see new reaction for Avatar. 🤘🤘🤘
You're doing a great job guys. Here are a few bands you may not be familiar with, but may find of interest for future reviews. 1. Ludovico Technique - 'Becoming Numb'. (A New York band that is described as a cross between Type O Negative & Rammstein. Ben V's baritone vocals are pure Peter Steele, with bass-heavy guitar riffs and some Operatic vocals on the Album. 2. Lord of the Lost - 'Ruins', 'Raining Stars' or 'My Last Words'. A Goth Metal band fron Hamberg, Germany. performer and writer - Chris Harms. 3. Aesthetic Perfection - 'Gods and Gold'. Performer from Switzerland who has Rammstein guitarist Richard Z Kruspe contributing to this track. 4. Apocalyptica - 'I'm Not Jesus' feat. Corey Tailor (Slipknot), 'Not Strong Enough' feat. Brent Smith (Shinedown), 'I Don't Care' feat Adam Gontier. This band comes from Finland and are famous for performing Heavy Metal on Cellos without guitars or bass player (only a drummer and occasional guest singer is used). Hope these suggestions help with future review ideas and that you discover something you like.
So glad to see more cats discovering Avatar! If you kids are looking into and album digest, feathers and flesh is a great place to start, and move out from there. Secret Door, Colossus, Eagle has landed, house of eternal hubt, Torn Apart, the list goes on! Excited to see what you guys pull up. I'll be following to see what you choose!
I am SO GLAD you're checking out more songs from my favorite band! If you want to see a live performance, I HIGHLY recommend *Let it Burn* : ua-cam.com/video/gNIuN1yE3I0/v-deo.html , *Regret//House of Eternal Hunt* : ua-cam.com/video/e8IdzNnwsaA/v-deo.html (live from Avatar Ages, made during the pandemy) and Bloody Angel : ua-cam.com/video/huTcZvDCMak/v-deo.html (he's got a really good growl in this one). Torn Apart is a great one too! And for official videos, I recommend A Secret Door, The King Welcomes You To Avatar Country, The Eagle Has Landed and *Torn Apart* (fun fact about this song- they learned how to play it backwards. You'll see why when you check out the official video, but that's what I call dedication!) Enjoy, I'm looking forward to any of them🤘
David: Very appreciative of the Avatar community as everyone that has commented on these videos has been very welcoming. We will definitely react to a live video as we have gotten so many requests for them. I have purposely had to stop myself from listening to them offline so to keep the reaction’s genuine but all the comments makes it so hard not to be interested in the band!
@@metalheadsjourney I guess we're all pretty excited! I, for one, never hear other people talking about this band, so the fact that you're reacting to it really puts a smile on my face! I appreciate that you're doing that for a genuine reaction, I know that takes some strength, especially when everyone in the comments is talking about it and reccomending more and more songs by them. I hope you will all enjoy this journey! Once again, welcome to Avatar country!
Great reaction! I really was looking forward to seeing you guys check out this one, one of their greatest! As for live videos, here’s some links and recommendations! All are professional recordings: - Regret/House of Eternal Hunt (From a livestream concert series they did during the pandemic, so no audience, but a fantastic performance and song) ua-cam.com/video/e8IdzNnwsaA/v-deo.html - Bloody Angel (I’m aware you guys already reacted to the song, but the live performance is an entirely different flavor in my own opinion, livelier, filmed during pol’and rock festival) ua-cam.com/video/Aaiiua2Fy6U/v-deo.html - Torn Apart (An oldie but one of my favorites) ua-cam.com/video/JW97ZdFK-ZI/v-deo.html - Smells like a freakshow (Fantastic performance, at wacken festival in Germany) ua-cam.com/video/uZauhcf_lpc/v-deo.html - Puppet Show (Another from Pol’and rock, a special surprise in it) ua-cam.com/video/o0lMHz6widE/v-deo.html - Avatar Country (They were headliners at Alcatraz festival in belgium for this show) ua-cam.com/video/p6QcgjeHG2Y/v-deo.html - Let it burn ua-cam.com/video/WyRbINlSTAE/v-deo.html - Wormhole (also from the livestreams during the pandemic) ua-cam.com/video/FYKjwwnztE8/v-deo.html - Get in line (Also at alcatraz) ua-cam.com/video/9T_EiXU14ZQ/v-deo.html
Please do something from Feathers and Flesh. It is a fucking masterpiece. I have seen Avatar Live 3 times and I am NEVER disappointed! Hail the Apocalypse was the first song and video I saw and I was blown away!
Awesome reaction! The great thing about this song is that they use the whammy bar in a very original way in the main riff. If you'd like to watch a live video of Hail the apocalypse, the Wacken's version is amazing, it's the first song of the concert. Regards! ua-cam.com/video/zwTrw24NYnE/v-deo.html
This is the live version of this you want: ua-cam.com/video/zwTrw24NYnE/v-deo.html King's Harvest is their only other song that hangs with this one IMO.
