Unfortunately I don't have a video of me porting one of these but they're not hard to port , not as easy as a jug on top saw but a lot easier than a Mcculloch most of the time they've got really small exhaust ports at most you just have to widened them a little bit but the intake usually fine
@@reddogsaws did you have to play with the timing? Did you have to measure it when widening it? Or just eye ball and hope for the best? After porting and exhaust mod whst you rate the saw outta 10? Also what would you compare it after the porting to other known brands like stilh or Husqvarna like 194t 151t examples of some known brands models 😁😁😁
If you're lucky you have a non epa cylinder , I just eye ball it as it closed up. They run ok but not as good as an echo 280e or xxv poulan (if you want to take life into your own hands), but they are cheap and easy to get parts for and they are good to practice on on one cries when you mess up a Chinese saw
@@reddogsaws i would hold on to it and take care of it . We had a good named "Lawnboy" it was hi quality w a diecast aluminum or magnesium body . I really miss em they ran extremely smooth w lotsa torque . Did your families company make em ?
My family did not make them unfortunately the one in the video got pulled down for parts she was made in 82 it was a domestic with low compression head i used it to fix my commercial engine with a high compression head
Hey mate have a question are these saws hard to port?
By any chance have a video of you doing a port on these saws?

G'day mate was wondering stil have this Chainsaw? Still working good after porting and a exhaust mod? Or still riping good after today?
It is still going hard. I gave it to a mate a year ago, and he has been fogging it hard to clear Bushland. The biggest bar his has on it is 18in
Hey Terrence, what state are you based in? I'm in Queensland. Have you tried to timing advance the ozito?
Victoria , its on my to do list
👍🏻🙋🏻♂️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks
Good porting , it woke the lil critter right up ! It sounded like your mower is 2stroke too ?
It is its a 160cc victa two stroke we made 5 million of them
@@reddogsaws nice ! U.S. took em away when they ran the 2stroke motorcycles out of the country somewhere in the 80s
We were still making them in to the 2010s
