WOW!!! This is no joke! It works incredibly well! I couldn’t believe the power the extra power. I’m going to try it with a slight bump in timing and see how that goes. Thanks for putting this video out, I have a totally different saw now 👍🏻
Awesome video!!!! 🇺🇸🪓🪵🌲🪵🪓 And thank you and Hopski for the tip to remove the baffle on the CS 355t. I just did it and I removed the limiter caps on the carb. Factory settings on the CS 355t carb screws are 2 1/4 turn for the low jet and 3/1/4 for the high jet. God Bless you guys.
@@Bigbodysquid250x clockwise closes the adjustment screws and closes off the fuel ( less fuel equals leaner. Counterclockwise opens the adjustment screws which opens the flow of fuel ( more fuel equals richer). This principal is always the same no matter what side of the saw the adjustment screws are. Also, its important to know the the adjustment screw that is closest to the cylinder is always the low jet.
@@DirtRoadLanding much appreciated for the detailed response ill be installing a pipe on my 355 i want to make sure i know what way to adjust the screws
@@NickPixelTVhey man Great video that was cool to watch. I've always been a stihl fan but I need to get something smaller as I'm starting to do more climbing and cutting. I honestly like the echo in this lineup
Absolutely loved watching u film this 1st hand an seeing what an amazing transformation the 355t made with couple minor things done 2 it i was amazed!!!!!
Pix’l & Co. Great show brother! I’d hate to see the budget for this project, I mean, you got the Notorious Reverend BellHopper! I bet y’all had an absolute blast. Bless’ns to the lot of ya’s, Tedd
I love my Echo top handles, my 355T was running good but then not so much. It would start and idle but the second you give it any throttle it dies and the primer bulb takes forever to pop back so I thought maybe the lines are starting to get squishy and took it apart and thats where its at lol but have no time to fix it or get it back together but by the time I take it to our Echo dealer I'll be well over half the cost of a brand new one. My other is a. 303T and it sat for a while with regular fuel (not ethanol free) and it won't even start so new carb for that one.
hi there good show . had a 200T for years great saw , went to a 201 no where as good , hard to start like it is hydraulic locked . thinking of getting the new Stihl E top saw , looks like you all had a good time , now wood cookie flying contest . who can cut the thinnest and fly the furthest , best to all john
@@NickPixelTV no doubt! Just went and pulled the air baffle off my 355t and was shocked! Glad I sold my 201tc 😆 My 355t was already muffler modded and had the cap limiter tabs cut, retuned and wow 🤩
I'm picking up a Stihl MS 194T today to use for my haunted house, my only concern was how it was sound compared to my old ryobi (14in 37cc) from home depot, I originally wanted the echo but it wouldn't arrive in time, also that homelite sounds badass
I have an echo top handle and a old old homelite. I want to pick up the m18 Milwaukee I have played with it and it feels good for what it is. I do believe it should be priced at 249 not 3 something
@NickPixelTV I'm trying to be good and not buy tools. I have failed miserably but I'm trying. I really want to get a new shop built. Couple cars to build and put a lot into the house and compound this year. Trying to stretch that almighty dollar as far as I can ya know
Damn almost thought you were trying to do a front flip at the end of cut number two with the stihl😂jk but u did damn near have it upside down haha. I can't say much you know a whole lot more about chainsaws than I do im just giving you a hard time 😉
Yep pretty awesome. Seems to be across the board though can make a lot more power with a ICE by taking the baffles out, front and back, open it up. Let 'er eat
So on the first run the Echo's time was around 16.5 secs. After the 'mod' with the same user (black shirt & shorts) time was around 16.5 secs and everyone in the comments is going nuts. What am I missing?
You can hear the massive difference in sound alone. At first I thought the Stihl just ran at a higher rpm but after the mod it sounded like the Stihl. The mods on my 355 made a huge difference.

You are going to notice a difference right away. It changed that saw big time. Thanks man!!
Is clockwise leaner or richer on the adjustments ??

200t is a machine. We are going to make some improvements to the 201 here soon ;) thanks John!
Nothing like a new saw that takes 30 pulls to get it started😮
Looks fun, love it!

850 for the 201 is insanity

I figured you would have the Milwaukee top handle already ;) i should probably get one myself but I late to the game so many videos on it.

Stihl - if it doesn’t start on first 20 pulls , give it another 20 😂
Some people never drove an Automible with a choke ... Tart!!
Man that mod to the echo was nuts.
Drastic change in that saw ;)
How's it going buddy, great video
I got a cs3000 just fresh out the shop love my baby saw lol...

Every time you can’t start a saw and hand it off to someone else it will fire up lmao.
👍👍
Thank you!
Solid gains for the echo
Major difference. We got more things in works
@@NickPixelTV cool
What is better…. friends, camping, and fishing or friends, camping, and chainsaw?
Yes
Stihl pulling. What a shock.
lol
I'm glad he corrected himself, some people are on here for actual results😅

What’s the mod to the muffler for the 355? I will have to try the carb baffle removal on mine
Tips * Tricks
Gottta luv bruski Nick ;)
200 hundred HP coming in at 150 pounds 💷 😍
The Echo 2511 are way better then both saws!
🤣🤣🤙🤙
That’s coming ;))
You can do that to several of the new saws the 462 also works really well
Change too tight on your 201 you can hear it
There must be something special about my 193... It works MUCH better than that one!
It was rough day for Stihl. That 193 was out of gas I believe. :-)
Chain's too fuckin tight on the 201
Itll stretch
Echo FTW
Nice video Nick & Bellhopper!🤩🤩🤩🤩
Robert thank you my friend!
85 Hp?
Japanese will always have the best technology period
High jet way to rich on the echo from the start
I like echó
How do you get 75 and 85 horse power out of them ?!
I watched the whole video just to see the blonde guy a few times. Damn he’s frig’n beautiful 😂👍🏻👍🏻
75 hp. Are you sure? Sounds more like 7.9 tenths of a hp😮.
Its all in the filing
I will buy neither. My Old Mummy-Fart Poulan S-25 CVA runs great, and does what I need it to.
Why do you keep saying 75hp and 85hp?
It was just a joke because everyone get hyped up on specs and really there are so many variables
So on the first run the Echo's time was around 16.5 secs. After the 'mod' with the same user (black shirt & shorts) time was around 16.5 secs and everyone in the comments is going nuts. What am I missing?
Its really hard to capture on video but the saw lit up, i may have to do an exact comparison but you can tell in the wood the power difference
You can hear the massive difference in sound alone. At first I thought the Stihl just ran at a higher rpm but after the mod it sounded like the Stihl. The mods on my 355 made a huge difference.
Maybe it's echos but it shouldn't be 4 strokeing that far into the wood I would assume your carb isn't tuned right shite gas or needs a carb kit
Ever hear of ear pro?
Your buddy has, but wears them wrong...
Echo was running too rich.
Choke wasn't on.... it slips off very, very easily.
You cant beat them old Husky 335xpt saws they are awesome saws
Little thing rocked
80 Horsepower?
Give or take
No; that's why you buy a battery operated chainsaw!
Unless it's an analogy, both saws are nowhere close to 75 or 85 horsepower. Probably more like 2hp.
No comment, for fear of being punished by UA-cams community guidelines 😢.
🤪
85 horsepower 😂 You obviously don't know what you're talking about
No idea 🥹
Lots of clowning around. No chaps or nothin
Those old echos suk.. my ripsaw 2511 rips
Triple the price it should 😉
You guys are idiots, calling the cc horse power 🤮🤮. 70 horse power on a husky! Mhm
These things are in the 35cc range, they’re obviously (or so I thought) kidding around 😊
Yep knows nothing
Not a thing
Run baby full chisel on my echo , flog every saw jst shown
