Ho comprato su Internet vecchio tritacarne Spong Minger anni50 ,completa di pezzi. Adoro usarla e questo video mi ha aiutato capire come assemblare. Prodotto eterno e utile. Grazie
@@mariyamykhnyuk5938 you are welcome 👍
Only a small one!😅
The same engine was used on their home owner whipper snippers,if I can recall.
They are similar in design but these do have plated bores so not as cheap as the poulans design
Lola 😅
These are unburstable workhorses. The carbs are so simple. Compared to others including the new plastic carbs, I would take one of these over many. Very tough and reliable except the carb diaphragm. However £3
@@volt8684 they were great cheap engines for the longest time with that downdraft carburettor the quantums I didn't tend to like with a bowl style carburettor always seem to block up
Dont be so cruel they deserve to live too just like you!!
@heleneohara7740 who said I was cruel to it and this is also Australia they do so much damage to the local environment
How did you catch him? You must be fast lol
I can't say I was too fast he was in the water pipe but I have caught them by hand before when I was younger and faster. Oh so is your Facebook the picture of a chainsaw the word pup on it
@@reddogsaws yes mate
they’re invasive and harmful to native wildlife and environment as well as a pest for farmers
No inside dog like 3 saw but why sweet deal cheers Kevin
@MrHangerone I going to make some of those dogs. Do you Kevin have a Facebook account?
@reddogsaws yes mate Kevin hanger cheers
@@MrHangerone is it the with pup on the chainsaw
My uncle had a very very similar looking chainsaw back in the day called a PARTNER made in Sweden ,good video 🙋♂️
@giuseppelatina2640 those are good saws but they are getting a bit long in the tooth now
Fugly 😂 Buy a real Ute. Ford or Holden
Super !!
I want to pat it
Tire killers some people call them. Because at night you can’t see them until it’s to late and it blows when it happens
Good interesting video.
I have to rebuild the top end of my 1990 Suzuki Quadrunner LT-F250 2WD And I so wish I had one of those
Bird 👍🏼
I was hoping for the bang tbh 😂
One day maybe next week
@@reddogsaws awesome
Interesting - thanks for sharing…from Canada.
Yeah the Boyz
We get Holzzformer in OZ?
@damodoesall6240 we sure do some of there stock actually ships from Australia to America
Better than Perla barb V4?
@damodoesall6240 without pulling it apart they are on par by looking at them this one has a metal starter but I think it also has a EPA muffler while the V4 doesn't
70cc or the 62 cc V4? seem very close in CC but not $$$ sadly.
@damodoesall6240 the 70 cc is based on a Husqvarna 372. The 62 is based on the generic Chinese chainsaw which is a zenoah clone. The 372 has a lot more balls and lighter
Sweet little saw 👀
@MrHangerone still needs a jerry can to go through it but it will get there
@@reddogsaws ten tanks of and they change cheers
the chance of getting electrocuted goes through the roof while wearing one of these on a construction site dnt see the point in wearing one of these tbh plus in the ozzy heat it would get hot as fuck on your head lol
@Himmy88 yea, these are not alound on construction sites, but in the heat they're don't get too hot but no one where's them in day and age
@@reddogsaws all for show im guessing wish there was like a day where you could wear whatever on site tbh this would come in to play pretty cool
@Himmy88 you are right I ended up painting it blue I wanted a fiberglass one but they cost too much
fullbrim skullgard hardhats are pretty cool bro have a look at em i orderd me one from usa not to bad
@@Himmy88 I might have to look in to it
Would you buy another one of these for the money they cost?Good Video 🤙
For $99, they are not bad, but you have to work on them as They have a catalytic converter and small epa ports but they give you plenty to hog out but I would get a Perla Barb 62cc V4 for chinese saw a lot less work
@@reddogsaws Already have the exact Perla Barb saw purchased last year and good quality ✅🙋♂️
Not a bad chainsaw for the money 🤙✅
It's not bad build quality but it's not garet for the price $249
More fun mate 👍
So clean😮!
Good video, saw these myself at Mitre 10 for $99 ,still a lot of chainsaw for the money, only problem is that some of them have dodgy coils straight out of the box,but still not bad for the price 🤙
@giuseppelatina2640 at least they have 1 year warranty return you can do a lot of cutting by then
Is that 4 stroke or a 2 stroke
@ShyronWilson-tz1ok two stroke running at 25to1
The stock saw restricted muffler, too much rpm, to lean, will still rev and not smoke w with dirty air filter they run too hot and it's epa and planned obsolescence. Mtronic or autotune will destroy the engine. Ethanol turns to water, oil don't mix with water and 50/1 is only 2 percent.
You are right , funny thing about this saw is the muffler is completely empty no EPA whatsoever and the carburettor is Fully adjustable form the factory maybe it's because of our lax EPA rules down hear, I'm thinking it might just be an air leek
Trigger not working ozito,25.4,cc petrol chainsaw trigger not working
Any idea what the power difference is from the non epa to the epa?
Non epa is 25% more stock 50 if ported over the epa cat one
@@reddogsaws Thanks.
@reddogsaws have you tried an offset flywheel key?
@procrastinator1842 no I haven't but it can be done you just use locktied and no key way just make sure you mark top dead centre on the flywheel before you move it
You need a lot of patience to work on some of these saws, been there on several occasions, could be an air leak somewhere?
@@giuseppelatina2640 that's what I was thinking my give a slightly honing and put it all back together and see what happens
I have this same one, bought in 2009. Besides wearing out the bar, several chains, fuel lines and cleaning....it still rips. I did the muffler mod a few years back. Parts are still easy to get. Love it.
@procrastinator1842 they are good saws for the price point I like the xxv poulans but this are hard to pass
LOL.. I've still got one of these... had it for more than 30 years and still works fine.
Fascinating...thanks for posting! A female ratchet is not odd. Old 1930's American Craftsman Circle H Ratchets were the same. The screw on the side of the Ratchet does look interesting. Tension control?
I wouldn't be surprised if they copied those ratchets from Lend Lease equipment from the war which is funny because it's funny that they still make them today
@@reddogsawsDoes Russia still make them today? or did hey end with the USSR?
@branned look up on the Novosibirsk tool factory website (Set "Motorist" with 6-gr. heads) still made today
@@reddogsaws Thats cools...thanks for sharing.
I remember the tool truck trying to flog off that junk many years ago.
@harry8506 still better than tools made in China
@@reddogsaws not from what I remember
I might not snapped one but I've snapped plenty of British ones over the years on old engines I don't think it matters what country it's from anything can break good or bad
That ratcheting mechanism sounds BEEFY
@rickshafer9595 it's not going to let go in any time soon, had no problem leaning on it
Very nice 👌
These are old school tools made using hard tempered steel virtually impossible to break, reminds me of when SIDCHROME was made in Australia,a socket set would last you a lifetime.SNAPON tools would be the equivalent of our Sidchrome back in the day. These socket sets would have been used by a lot of farmers in Europe on their equipment many years ago these would have been a valuable asset for them 🙋♂️
@giuseppelatina2640 You had the trust your life with tools like this. If you ever get stuck out of middle of nowhere where you have to fix your gear or get eaten by bears or freeze
@@reddogsaws I don't think it's the reason. Human life in the USSR was valued very little. Also, those tools are very possible to be damaged, when used incorrectly.
@radosawkapuscinski2808 almost all tools can be missued if they are in the right hands. That why snapon have the idiot tax on the warranty of there tools.v
Better quality than the newer ones tbh 😂😂😂
@@alpharaptor7510 you definitely not breaking these
@@reddogsawsoh god no 😂 Unless you really try lol
@@alpharaptor7510 Baker bar with 2 m piece of water pipe might ask me how I know
actually old russian tool hardness equal todays cheap chinese branded tools
@@doctorzvingo9321 I'm going to say they're probably better than the new Chinese ones but Chinese one's not much to go off
Good job 👍
my neighbor gave me one the same, it runs well.
@harry8506 they are good saws better than bunnings new offerings
That connecting system was called EXPANDIT SYSTEM and is still around today (RYOBI).
@giuseppelatina2640 and it's the bane of my existence I hate square,7,9 tooth extension systems
Remember these half crank engines, very temperamental 🤔
@giuseppelatina2640 yes they are don't forget victa had a great idea using one in a lawn mower
Yes everywhere in 1994,my uncle bought one and used it for years in his big house block. These were later marketed/rebranded as MTD until the very early 2000s,good video as always 🙋♂️
I think I pulled over 20 of them apart over the years still got three more in the back of the ute to do
Great video mate, keep them coming cheers Kevin
Very technical and informative ☺️
Good Video 🙋♂️
Was looking at making woodfire oven. Just curious where did you get the kit for $40 most I've seen are 100 plus...
@philbeee4611 mine cost almost $100 Australian on eBay in the us they are 40 to 80 that 3 years ago. They are 135 now, i hope that helps
@@reddogsaws thanks I thought I was possibly being ripped off and was missing something. Yes it did help. 👍
Here's a tip for making a wood fire oven you might have to run air tubes down to the back of the fire from the front so you get a nice even burn as in a separate video I did this so I had to modify it to get more air into it but I'm running mine as an incinerator not like an oven
