@@deuspacis3002 IMO, yes. I love Led Zeppelin, but AC/DC is definitely the bigger band. They're the definition of rock & roll. EVERYONE knows Back In Black & Thunderstruck. I say this say this a lot on their videos. I and my teenage friends got to see them so many times in Melbourne in the mid 70’s. Bon will always be their frontman to me. He just oozed sex (not that we really knew what it was then) but we knew enough to never go backstage in case he charmed one of us too much. He just always had that naughty twinkle in his eye and he was freaking brilliant, as they all were even then. So lucky I got to see him so often. Never seen them since, have no interest. I saw the best!

According to a documentary, Bon Scott knew Brian and actually said that if anything ever happened to him they should get Brian. It was somewhat prophetic and freaky. Brian had quit singing and had recently left music when AC/DC called. He was ready to go back to his day job after the "audition" and the band had to explain that he was not going back, he was their new singer. When I first heard Back in Black, I knew that they would continue being a powerhouse band with the addition of Brian.

Im so happy you both listen to the original, studio versions of your reaction songs you pick. Its the best version 99% of the time and it also is the best way you can re- live and get the real feel of the songs. The sound quality is always usually better to. Live versions also have a tendency to leave out special effects and nuances that can't be done live. You get the full essence and color of songs the artist was trying to get across. Rock on my brother and sister!!!

Couldn't agree more. As first time reactions, you can't beat the original studio recordings. That's not to say there's anything necessarily wrong with live versions, particularly later ones, but if you want to hear the song as it was originally heard by many viewers, (listeners?), then the studio version is where it's at.

@@michaelasay8587 Live can be better, maybe even most of the time, but first time listens should be studio usually. Sometimes if someone hears a band play a song when they are having a bad night or players are old, a first listen of a song live is not going to give the quality reaction.

Really enjoyed watching you two enjoy this classic song! AC/DC has been my favourite band for decades, and have seen them five times in concert. It's an experience like nothing else, and they just get better and better. The fourth time I saw them live, in 2008 in Tacoma, Washington, I was fortunate enough to meet Angus after the show. A bunch of us hung around outside the arena by the tour buses, and after a while a security guard came out and allowed us in to get one photo or autograph, and Angus came out to spend time with everyone that wanted to meet him. He must have been exhausted after such an incredible performance, but he had all the time in the world for us fans. They say 'don't meet your heroes,' but Angus could not have been more down to earth, friendly and genuine in person. I was so nervous I could barely think of anything to say, other than thanking him and Malcolm for inspiring me to play guitar in the first place. Best songs, best band in the world.

And how out of the hundreds of rock and metal concerts he'd been to over the years, the show he saw them do on the Highway to Hell tour was the loudest, hard-rockinest show he'd ever seen. And it probably is the reason he still has hearing loss in his left ear.

I first saw AC/DC in Adelaide at Memorial Drive in 1981. They were banned from South Australia after that show due to several stabbings. The second concert was in 1988 at Globe Derby Park in Adelaide. It was and still is the best concerts I have been to (I have been to lot of concerts) The crowd listening outside created a riot and stormed the venue tearing down fences and escaping the cops to get inside.
Then in 1996 at the Entertainment Centre in Adelaide - it was so loud that as a massive fan I couldn't decipher what they were playing! So I walked out after three attempts to work out what song was playing.
Then the final show in 2015 at Adelaide Oval - OMFG what a show that was - back to normal and a better PA system!

I saw AC/DC live at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis in 1980 as a 16 yr old young man - and as you can imagine, was blown away. We were all wondering what the new lead singer Brian Johnson was going to be like and he also blew us away from the first song (which was Hells Bells) to the last. They brought Angus around through the crowd on top of the security guards shoulders half way through the concert - making a loop around the floor level seats. I tried to jump over the top of everyone to touch Angus and as my hand reached a grip on his elbow, the sweat caused it to slip off and I fell to the floor only to be trampled by about 100 people. Lol The footprints on my back were worth it! 😂

Have always loved AC/DC. I think I had every album they made, in either cassette or vinyl, back in the day. Always had their tunes cranked cruising down the highway. Living in the Yukon, I seldom had the opportunity to go to many concerts as no one came that far north to play. In August 1996, AC/DC was playing in Edmonton Alberta and we couldn't pass up travelling over 1200 hard driven highway miles (almost 2000 kms) to go see them. It was the first concert we took our son to (he was 11 years old). It was their Thunderstruck tour and it ROCKED!

I'm so glad you're enjoying AC/DC 🇦🇺.As Aussie we were lucky enough watch them make it in Australia. They played at not only at capital city's but our country towns in our town hall. They even played for free at a concert. Angus was at school when Malcom said he wonted to start a band and told Angus he'd wonted him to join and it was his sister that said Angus should wear his uniform and her sewing machine gave them the name AC/DC. I have loved them from day one and will till the day I die when I have this song at my funeral..

Lost my mind when the ac/dc bell came down, then ac/dc money flying everywhere when money talks played. I have one hell of a story getting to this concert with my best friend. I saw them in Columbus Ohio in ‘79, one of the last shows in the US with Bon Scott. It was the “Dirty Deeds” mini-tour, but they were trying out some new stuff, so I saw what was probably one of the first public performances of this song. It was a nasty, sweaty, funny, scary, crazy night of General Admission madness. I got kicked in the head (by accident) by Angus as they did their traditional guitar solo through the crowd with Angus on a roadie’s shoulders. One of the best decisions I ever made was grabbing that free ticket off a friend who couldn’t go...

And considering I have seen Metallica in concert 10 times, I do mean LOUD. 80's kids were so blessed with the ease of which we attended concerts. There were SO many bands to pick from and different genres. Just show up the night before the tickets went on sale, or super early the morning of, get our place in line and walk to the counter and hand over our cash. We didn't even realize how lucky we were. Watching you react to the music of my generation, and even my Dad's generation, is a gift.
