Top notch video Ian. This is what photographers want - local knowledge. Tired of how-to and gear videos. This hits the spot. Also an area of the Peaks I don't know too well so even better. Keep 'em coming.
I think that most of your photos have a very discreet softness. I mean, I like the zone of colors and light that you work in, nothing is pushed to much. It is often very rich in color and light nuances, but not to contrasted. I admire that. There's a lot of balance. I am an amateur, I hope you understand what I am talking about. Anyway, very beautiful pictures, thank you.
Kinder Scout really is an amazing place. My dad took me over to the Downfall from Edale when i was 6 years old. 50 years later and i still go back regularly. We scattered my dad's ashes on the edge looking over Grindsbrook, as he requested in his will, so it's quite a special place for me.
Cracking film Ian and photos, thanks for sharing the info about the Peak District, could prove helpful once we are all back to normal, cheers mate, stay safe.
I enjoy this type of video, it gives me ideas where to go on a shoot. We frequently visit family in Mansfield so I now know where to go on a shoot when I am down there. Thanks Ian.
Hi Ian, really enjoying your photographer’s journey series. You’ve got me champing at the bit to get out once restrictions are lifted. I’m currently saving for a printer, so your explanation of your printing process gets a thumbs up from me too. Top that off with a wonderful selection of great images and it’s a gold star from me for your vlog - no hesitations .
Great video and some lovely images Ian, I definitely need to come and explore the Peak District some more once we can again! Kinder Scout looks like a great location! Sam
You certainly have some beautiful areas to enjoy and photograph. Really enjoyed the content and variety of the vlog today. BTW camera build is progressing, slowly but surely.
I thought that when I was putting the video together, you should try and get to the downfall when that wind is blowing, looks like an amazing spectacle 🙏🙏😀
That really brought back memories from my teenage years, used to always stay at Coopers Farm Campsite in Edale, where the Post Office/General Store is facing The Nag’s Head
I really love this type of content Ian, i look forward to your contributions taking ideas for when we are allowed to get on with our lives again, Best wishes
Loved those images and the lowdown on the area, walks available is very useful. Look forward to getting out to this area either later this year or next.
He Ian I have a little bit of complaint about your video. You made me want to go out and following your footsteps the complaint is I live in Canada so it is not possible, You should not do those videos while we cannot travel. Nonsense it was since I followed your channel the best video I saw, at least for my taste, I loved every minute of it, Thank you so much and please more of it.
Like i mentioned in my video, I gave it my best shot, but i new it wasn't perfect. Hopefully the video will inspire more people to visit the area and help local communities to rebuild their business's that have been so badly affected by the recent restrictions.

Dyffryn Ogwen.
Not Ogwen Valley. Please do not try and make Welsh place names English, it will just make us want independence more. Enough os enough.
